-Fifty time cards of necessity show a limited number of possibilities... It would take 144 cards to show all the possible combinations of the minute hand at 5 minute increments with all twelve hours.-The minute hand is shown at each 5 minute increment position at least once.-There is one card for each hour: "on the hour" (__:00), "at quarter after" (__:15), and "at half past" (__:30), which uses 36 of the 50 time cards.-That leave only 14 time cards for all the other minute positions (__:05, 10, 20, 25, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55). There are five different "5 after" (__:05) cards and two cards at "5 till" (__:55). There is only one card representing each of the remaining minute hand positions, including "quarter till" (__:45). I wish more hours were represented at "quarter till", but I wouldn't want to exchange any of the time cards provided in the deck. Overall, it seems like the times chosen for the flashcards were well thought out.-The flash card quality is good. They are larger, but the material feels similar to a standard set of playing cards.-I can't speak to how much fun the game is, since we don't own the 6x6 fidget bubble mat. It would be possible to modify the game to use different manipulatives and your own die to keep score. But buying the recommended Fidget Mat would be simpler & quite possibly more fun.

Edited to add: After ordering the toy mats and die and playing the game, I have increased my rating to 5 stars. The game makes it so fun to learn about telling time and does not feel forced. My daughter is excited to play the game, and I have already noticed her picking up on the concept after playing only a couple of times so far. This game really works, and I would absolutely recommend it!This alone is a really nice quality set of flash cards, and can be used as such. I did not realize at the time I ordered these, that the rainbow fidget toy mats and the die are not included, and need to be purchased separately. They are required to play the game as intended. I plan on ordering them in the near future, and will update my review after we are able to play the game and see how my daughter enjoys it. I have heard so many great things about this company and their games, and feel that it is a good investment to do so. I have heard so many great things about this company and their games, and feel that it is a good investment to do so. For now, I am basing my review on what I received. The only reason I rated this game 4 stars (for now) is because I didn't see anywhere in the listing that the rest of the items required to play the game need to be purchased separately. It's possible that I overlooked it, but if it's mentioned somewhere, it isn't very obvious. The cards are a nice large size, are easy to read, have fun character images, and are so vividly colored! The set I received included all 59 cards listed on the box, as it should. My daughter is turning 4, and will be attending pre-school in the fall. Although she likely will not be learning much, if anything, about time until kindergarten, I would like to get a head start at familiarizing her to an analog clock, and see if she takes an interest in learning how to tell time sooner. She seems to have an interest in time in general, and is always curious about what time it is. I can't wait to try out this game with her after we receive the rest of the pieces needed to play the game. I hope she will enjoy it as much as I think she will.

This review is for "The Fidget Game Learn to Tell Time Analog Clock Flash Cards." The box of cards arrived wrapped in plastic. Once unwrapped and opened the cards have a strong smell. It is probably the smell of ink. There is a lot of red ink on the cards. I will leave the cards out to see if it dissipates before we play the game. The cards are flashcard-sized at 3 1/8" x 4 1/4". They are smaller than the listing shows by 1/2" in length and 1/8" in width. This is my shortcoming, but I was unaware from the listing that the cards were not a complete game. You are supposed to have the fidget boards and a die to start the game. I will not purchase the fidget boards and we can use a die from another game. I will figure out another way to reward my grandson for getting the time correct. The cards themselves are made from glossy card stock. They do not seem sturdy enough to hold up for long in a classroom but will be fine at home. The pictures on the cards are represented accurately in the listing but the cartoon unicorns and gremlins are not my favorite themes for children. The listing states more than once that there is realistic art but I don't think unicorns and gremlins are very realistic. I dislike the artwork. The clock cards show 50 different clock times in 5 minute intervals. The minute hand is blue/purple and matches the minute marks around the clock. The hour hand is red to match the hour numbers. The listing pictures show 50 clock cards with four each of gremlin and unicorn cards (and an instruction card). This is listed incorrectly at the bottom of the listing under Product Information where it states ony two gremlin and two unicorn cards are included. I will use the cards in tandem with an inexpensive analog clock to help my grandson learn to tell time this year.

I really enjoyed watching the parents and the students play this game together. The cards were the right size, durable, and age appropriate. The instructions was very easy to understand. This is a great game for home and school to test your child mental math ability.
