Received cast 'foot' version. Purchased three 8 x 1.25mm bolts to removed taper shaft-mounted flywheel from Westinghouse 12kW generator engine. Greased screw, then tightened as much as dared. Needed to realign a couple times to pull evenly. Pinged center drive bolt with heavy hammer - flywheel came right off. Much better than prying and hitting crankshaft.Like all tools at this price point, I wouldn't expect it to be a daily use shop necessity. But, within its capabilities, it works fine.

The product is very well made, the hard case is excellent for keeping it together and makes it easy to locate. However for me, I needed it to pull the crank pull off of my 06/F150,/FX4 pick up that has the Triton 5.4, 3 valve engine. The Pully on this particular engine has 3 3/8 threaded holes for mounting the puller in order to pull evenly, this kit only came with 2 of the 3/8 bolts that need to thread into the balancer, again to be pulling evenly, I was able to purchase an extra 3/8 bolt at the parts store in order to get the balancer off, and to add to the kit, in order to have an equal 3, of the 3/8 bolts needed for this particular type of application. I'm not speaking ill I'll of the product, not am I giving it a bad review, perhaps I missed this when I purchased it. Once I had the 3rd 3/8 bolt it worked wonderfully with absolutely no issues at all, in fact it worked so well I hardly remember having to put a whole lot of torque behind it.it is a top quality tool.

There was no way I could removed my old steering wheel by hand as was suggested in some videos so I sent for this tool on Saturday and it came on Sunday. Will probably the only time I will use so I didn't care if the tool was cheaply made. Boy was I surprised by the quality and flexibility. Hopefully I will find another use some day. I had the 15 year old steering wheel removed within 10 minutes of this tool showing up at my door. It worked on my Toyota, but there are many other pairs of bolts so I am sure it would work for many other cars as well. The tool is very well made and heavy duty. Worked great for me.

The puller is easy to use and the centering bushing helps much! I used the puller to remove a stubborn flywheel from a 25hp outboard. The puller was plenty sturdy to handle several whacks with a 4lb hand sledge after tightening down and ultimately handled the required Heavy Duty Impact Driver without steipping or bending. The flywheel finally gave way to the puller, and I was able to subsequently rebuild the outboard (it had suffered a bad upper crank bearing and seal, letting water into cylinders). I was able to save money pulling tbe flywheel myself, which ultimately paid for the rebuild parts!Good purchase for up to medium sized pulling requirements! The hard vase is a bonus keeping the puller and accessories clean and organized!

If you expect cheap, poor quality, buy this. I'm not a picky person, and not expecting a whole lot for what I'm paying. But hey, there should be a certain standard. Looks like it's been used and repackaged. I was going to return it, and requested with return label, but I'll have to pay return shipping to the U.S., so I won't bother. The item is not as pictured. Buyer beware. Enough said.EDIT: if you disregard the bolts that came with it and buy some quality grade 5 or 8 bolts. You'd be fine.
