We are remodeling my son’s new home and needed to cut an access door in his garage wall to be able to reach some water lines. There is also some unused space in this compartment that could also be used for small item storage. The quality of this door is good... no sharp edges or burrs... and the finish is well applied. The gauge of the metal is adequate for a product like this, and installation is simple. This has a clean and clean design, so it isn’t going to be that noticeable... which is what you want.

There was a leak in our wall, and after removing that section of drywall, we realized we might have to patch it up again. I ordered this to cover the hole and I'm very satisfied!Wow. This is so clever!! You simply push a protrusion inside the large lid inward to fit the hole, push it into the hole and it will snap the protrusion back into place and lock it in place. The material is thin, but textured. You can easily paint it to match, or leave it white. It doesn't get any easier than that!!

I bought this access panel to cover a hole in the wall to bring electrical wiring into my home. Since I needed to be able to access the area to add or remove wires, I wanted something that would allow me to close the hole but still open it easily.I put it up against the wall and traced the inside of the access block. When I cut holes in drywall, I cut along the outside of the line. This allows the frame to fit tightly to the wall. I applied heavy construction adhesive around the frame and smoothed it out with an ice lolly stick. I made sure to apply a small amount of glue to the flat frame as well as the sides of the frame. Once I press the frame into the wall, the glue will fill in any blemishes where the drywall cuts are. After a few minutes, I put the door in the frame. It looks much cleaner than just screwing a piece of drywall into the wall.
