I have several different kinds of NP batteries from over the years. This is the first one that helps me know how much of a percentage is left on the battery without having to plug it in to charge and seeing a battery bar. It gives me the exact number of the battery. It charges fast if you plug it into a 100w charger as it take power to charge all 4 batteries at the same time. I think it can split it up to 22w on each battery. I have older batteries and those can only charge at a much slower rate compared to the newer bigger NP batteries. The charger is metal on the back which gives it some heft compared to most plastic chargers. This weighs it down since batteries are placed on top vs others are slide in on the side. Overall this is the perfect charger if you use NP style batteries alot on your equipment.

This might be the fanciest battery charger I've used. Starting with the build. It's a mix of mostly metal and plastic, and feels high quality. It has good weight, and rubber feet to limit sliding. Batteries stand upright while charging, and are easy to attach and remove. The USB C is located on the front, which I find more convenient. There's also a small button on the front, for switching between fast (smart), and slow (safe) charging. The display shows all relevant information clearly, including the power input. This charger also works great for quickly checking battery levels, without needing to be plugged in.

When working with monitors on bright days you chew through batteries like you’re going outa style , having a multi charger is an absolute must however they are bulky to the point that all my batteries are usb charged. This multi charger solves my problemsThe build is super solid , all metal , with heat sink on bottom , the charger screen is absolutely beautiful and tells you the precise level of charge leftMarked down a star because this unit is very expensive, however you do get what you pay for

Very pleased with this so far. Well built - it's got a little heft to it due to the metal heat sink on the underside. The gauges are informative and bright enough to see under normal room lighting. I especially like that it can vary the charging rate between batteries depending on their level of discharge, and truly charge 4 of them simultaneously. Comes with a nicely pliable charging cord - the only downside is you'll need to provide a wall wart putting out at least 65w (ideally 100w) to take advantage of the fast charging capability built into this thing. Recommended.

I was half expecting some cheesy display as the photos in the listing look rendered. But no, the display is fairly high resolution and the colors are vibrant. It charged a group of 4 batteries fairly quickly on a 65w supply fairly quickly. It automatically reads the present charge and goes from there. The unit is heavier than expected.Color me impressed.100% recommended.

If you're like me, you have a bunch of Sony NP style batteries. I have single and double chargers and they take up a lot of space given how the batteries attach. This one is different. Batteries stand upright on the pins, making this a great compact solution for charging. The display is very nice as well. The USB C cable that is included is a good braided type that should hold up over time. A great little charger here.

My favorite things about this charger are the small footprint while able to charge 4 batteries simultaneously, the fast charging capability, and the excellent and informative display. It also has an aluminum heat sink on the bottom to discharge heat build-up and silicone pads to protect the surfaces it rests on. The Toprig is a very good charger -it works well with my batteries - for NP-F970 etc. batteries and I find it easy to recommend.

Big fan of the quality yet portability of this charging unit. The color stat screen is actually quite informative showing you the total charging potential of your PD in, the % breakdown that your battery is at and the amp and W incoming in to the battery. The size of the charger is quite small but it's built really well. It does have a heat dissipation type design on the bottom though I can't tell if it's plastic or metal. It does have fins though so maybe it's for rigidity over heat. The charger has the ability to either charge your batteries "Smart" or "Safe" which affects the w's that going into the batteries. It was easy to switch between the modes and the info screen tells what mode you are in.This is an awesome charger though, and is a perfect fit for us as we use a lot of field monitors and accessories powered by NP-F batteries.
