I found the fit and finish of this heating tip to be just as good as I could find locally. The machined surfaces, as well as the flame orifices are accurately machined and deburred so that there are no leaks and the flames all have perfect conical shapes. It really puts the heat out, too. Always use rosebuds with acetylene and oxygen set to a listed pressure -and- wide open on the torch valves. DO NOT try to throttle this back by restricting flow. It (and all other MFA) will overheat and pop loudly as the flame travels into the tip. Big gas results in big heat, and this nozzle does it well. Would recommend.

This fits my Victor torch body as it said it would. A little tricky to get the mix adjusted right, but that is a general problem with rosebuds I believe.Throws out a lot of heat, the only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is that I think the fancier machined rosebud tips use the fuel a little more efficiently than this one which is simply drilled holes in a flat face.

This is a rosebud nozzle for use with an Oxy-Acetylene welding set when you want to heat a larger area and not weld. It is sized just right for the portable rigs used by HVAC and plumbing services. It is well made and works perfectly.

Works as advertised.Nothing special, Works like it's supposed to.Solid build, good quality.and hooked right up to the hose.Easy to hold with and without gloves. Doesn't overheat. Good value.

I have been known to "tinker" in the garage. I have needed a way to heat up things to loosen, bend or weld things. I have had a torch for as long as I can remember but needed a rosebud to go with it. The torch I have has a small mixing handle, so it is more of a consumer model than an industrial model and this rosebud works perfectly. It took a little bit to get the gas pressure correct but once it was right this thing works even better than I hoped it would. It has made quick work of anything I have used it for. It gets hot and transfers that heat quickly and efficiently. I would buy this again if I needed to. Very good product.
