Worked well for my PreK class until a winter storm hit. Now our weather boy is "sick" and I might have to get a new one. Not sure if it's worth buying twice. It was a perfect way for the class to double check the weather, until it went through a winter storm over the weekend and fell in a snowbank. Now it shows the weather boy in shorts and a T-shirt and registered a 80 degree day on a day with a cold weather warning.Not worth the money if you are putting the part.that goes outside out in the winter.

Nice product but ours catches the early morning sun even though we have it installed high up under the porch. That gives us a false reading, sometimes as much as 20-30 degrees warmer than the actual temperature. Once the direct sunlight doesn't hit the transmitter, it goes down to the correct temperature but I've been caught short a few mornings and didn't dress correctly.
