The adhesive is strong and the magnets are good as well. There's just so many projects that these can be used for. If you are a DIY or crafty sort of person, you will put these to good use. I'm using them on some reflectix (aluminum foil bubble wrap insulation) to hold it on to the metal window frames of our RV to increase the insulation in very hot or very cold temps.

In my electronic world, I have lots of LED rechargeable lights that come with these little remote controls. Therefore, over the years, I have attached these remote controls to regular light switch plates (primarily so I don't lose the rc's and/or lose track of which one goes with which light). My primary mean for attaching the remote controls has always been velcro UNTIL NOW. I recently stumbled across magnetic tape which has adhesive to attach the magnetic strip to the back of the remote control, and the other magnetic strip attaches to the light switch plate. This system is much nicer and quieter than the noise the velcro makes when I remove the remote control from the switch plate. However, I have concerns about how strong the magnetism of this tape actually is and how strong the adhesive on the backside of the magnetic tape is. The magnetic tape is in two rolls, and the adhesive is crackled looking and doesn't appear to be very strong (even though the adhesive is covered with tape stating it is a 3M product), compared to the velcro I had been using. The remote controls will be completely vertical most of the time similar to what a regular light switch would be on a wall. So far the magnetic tape adhesive is holding and the magnetism of the tape A and tape B is holding as well.

The plan was to use this to keep one end of our black-out curtains (that do not get used/moved) stuck to the wall with the magnet to cut down on cold air drafts in the winter. The tape side is very strong and adhered pretty easily to the curtain and the wall. The magnets did their job, stuck together, and the plan worked as hoped.

It's a strip of magnetic tape...it works. What more can you say. The two strips have reverse polarity so they magnetize well. As far as how well the sticky tape holds, we will see. If I have any issues, I'll update...

Any teacher needs this magnetic tape. It works great to turn normal things into stuff you can stick on the board and keep. You get so much for the price and it holds so well. This is a staple for me in my classroom. Great product.

I like this. I needed to have an easy way to open and close my greenhouse plastic door, and this worked out well. I got tired of it always blowing open and then being super hard to close or line up with the velcro ones I did, and the fact that these are magnet is really nice. It closes easily and opens easily. The magnets are nice and strong and the adhesive works well.

Appears to be a good product but you only get 6.6' of it. The magnetic attraction is not great but fair, I wouldn't expect it to hold anything heavy.
