This was ok as far as pet shame cones go. With that said my escape artist was having absolutely none of it. I ordered a soft sided option as well that seems to work a bit better than this OG plastic one. For reference I ordered the size small for my approximately 10 lbs cat post neutering. The size was pretty good ... but his comfort was apparently not.... he escaped with a quickness .... we had a bit more luck with the soft side option

This took literally seconds to put onto my girlpup to assist with her nibbles. & licks , I really like that we can adjust it accordingly to the comfort of our dog. No weird smell, the size is perfect,& I want to say honestly unless it’s extremely loose there’s no way the dog is not able to get it off. This works as we hoped and as stated.

Worked well for our cat. Flexible but also durable. Worth it!

Not for long nose dogs, they can still get to and lick and scratch themselves

I ordered the small for a 6lb cat. Fits the neck fine but is long for my sized cat. With some collars the cat would be still able to reach the food and water bowls but not this one unless the bowl is raised and small enough to clear the cone.. Its just too long for small cats. Very basic for the asking price with mostly exposed plastic and only fabric along on the edges.

I have a Bengal, and she is VERY smart. She will take off her collar, or virtually anything else you put on her. I tried this out because the last time she needed one, there was NO stopping her. In one case she was smart enough to snag another one on a counter edge and pull it enough to chew through it. So I thought I would give this one a try and see if this one worked. To my surprise it did. It has a wide rim and I knew she wouldn't like that, but it also keeps her from really being able to do much about it being there. It's flexible enough to not hurt her, but sturdy enough to hang on to her. This collar works better than the a few she went through in the past. Great product.

The Adjustable Pet Recovery Collar Cone is a basic yet functional option for protecting pets after surgery. I ordered this for my cat, who is scheduled for neutering, to help prevent licking or scratching the surgical area during recovery. The cone is made from translucent plastic, allowing visibility and helping minimize any additional stress for the pet. The edges are hemmed with a soft cloth to prevent discomfort or irritation, a thoughtful addition that makes it safer for your furry friend. The hook-and-loop closure system is convenient, offering easy adjustments to achieve a snug but comfortable fit. While the overall quality of the cone isn’t outstanding, it is adequate for short-term use. The cone is lightweight and washable. For more active pets or longer recovery periods, you might want to consider higher quality alternatives. For its price point, this recovery collar is an average choice if you need a quick, disposable solution for a few days of use. It serves its purpose.
