My carts starts using this scratching post before I even got it put together. It is lightweight, but sturdy and stays in place when my cats use it. It does require some assembly. There are 16 large plastic screes to screw in with the provided tool. It is simple, but foes take a bit of effort.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble! All parts needed for assembly were included with the product. Also, both of my cats have already used it on the first night! The small bag of catnip that came with the product was a huge bonus and really helped to introduce the cats to the scratcher. Great quality, and a good find!

Love this scratcher. It's beautiful and I've decided to keep it out year round because my cats like to nap on it. It's very well made, I've had it for three weeks now and with 9 cats it's still alive 😹
