  • Premium Material: The threaded inserts for 3D printing are made of high quality brass, extremely sturdy, not easy to break or deform, also can withstand high temperature above 300°C / 572°F. Excellent thermal conductivity also makes your 3D printer to work more effectively.
  • Easy to Install: The knurled brass nuts can be easily installed into the the tapered holes of 3D printers by heating, also can be molded by injection molding. The 3D printing brass nuts with full knurled patterns can perfectly match with your 3D printers. Practical nuts make your 3D printer work well.

Works like intended. I use a Creality Ender 3V2 for my prints with a 0.4mm nozzle. What I found works best for my prints is a 4.75mm sized hole that's at least 6mm deep to get a good fit. I pressed the nuts in slowly with a soldering iron at 200 degrees Celsius / ~400 degrees Fahrenheit. Super strong connection.

When it comes to 3D printing, you can always design a hole to be slightly smaller and hold a bolt by pressure. You can also add an empty slot and slip a nut inside to grip your bolt. But if you want a real quality hold.. this is the way to go!Installation isn’t perfect, but it also isn’t too bad. You just simply drop it in using the provided guide lip, then press it in with a soldering iron. It smoothly goes in, and it doesn’t budge once it’s cool. The force required to pull it out is pretty extreme, the teeth provide a strong hold on rotational forces, and the bolt will never strip these unless you do something seriously wrong. These are especially great for 3D printed printer upgrades that will be taken apart and put back together somewhat often but also need to remain strong and sturdy!

This is a quick fast and easy way to add reliable threads to any 3D printing project. Sized my hole to 4mm diameter and with a 6mm depth. These dimensions gave me a great fit on parts in every orientation. I have not run into any wear issues so far and haven’t stripped a single one, however I would not recommend using power tools to run screws in and out. Overall, 5/5 and these really are what you make of them.
