Purtroppo un bastoncino si è curvato nella parte centrale al primo utilizzo ☹️

The product provides no instructions on how to lock the poles in place. I had the same problem with another brand's poles, but found the answer on Amazon product reviews. How to lock: keep pulling the middle section that says aiGear, until the lock icon appears, then a bit more until a silver knob appears, which locks your pole in place.Height adjustment is more straightforward. Pull the black plastic tab, which loosens the pole, adjust, then close the tab.The handles are very comfortable. The poles come with 5 different terrain tip options, for pole ends. I haven’t yet experimented with all the tips, and won’t use the snow basket, because snow hikes are too cold for me. But I used the carbide tips on a recent hike. I had good results on steep downhills, where my shoes tend to slip and I land on my butt. The poles provided the extra stability I needed. I also found them useful for extra support to navigate around mud pits I don’t want to walk through. Plus I was able to pass a pole to my hiking partner (with shorter legs), so she could do the same.I’m not a pole walker who uses them all the time, but I did some of my hike that way and found it comfortable. I’d be fine if the poles evaporated until I reach unstable ground or mud pits, but alas I have to carry them or fold them and put them in my backpack. They're a bit of a nuisance when I'm stopping to get my water bottle out of my backpack, but any poles would be. I tried looping the grip strap over my shoulder and that freed my hands.

This is a nice versatile set of trekking poles. Can be used in most climates and types of weather. I like how small they are when they are broken down as they don't take up much space. I would order them again

The aiGear Lightweight Trekking Poles (2-Pack) offer good quality, sturdiness, and features at a really good price. The body is made of 7075 aluminum, which is a metal used in aircraft and other industries requiring lightweight strength. It has a natural cork and EVA foam grips and an assortment of rubber tips/feet for different terrain. This would be a great introductory pole for newcomers to this type of gear. Experienced trekkers might prefer even lighter poles with a metal locking mechanism. This pole has a Flip Lock made of plastic unfortunately. There were no instructions included to explain how the poles work or what the various feet are for. Only the product photos answer the important questions. If you're ordering as a gift for someone, be prepared to explain. It's possible that instructions were only missing from the set I received. Here are some things to know:LIMITED HEIGHT RANGE:These poles have limited height adjustability: 42 inches (shortest height) to 49.5 inches (tallest height). Because of this limited range, these poles are not ideal for children and shorter individuals; nor for really tall people either.HOW TO ASSEMBLE:The poles arrive in their folded/portable state, separated into their 3 parts, which are connected by a metal cable. Fitting the 3 fixed length sections together is very intuitive - they just insert into each other. Initially I struggled to figure out how to lock the pole sections together. You have to pull up on the top/handle portion until the metal pop-up button pops out. When the button pops out, the bottom sections of the trekking pole lock in place.HOW TO ADJUST HEIGHT:All of the height adjustment takes place on the top portion. Just raise or lower the height and use the Flip Lock Mechanism to lock it in place. If the Flip Lock feels too loose or too stiff to close, you can adjust the tension by turning the clear knob next to the Flip Lock.I do really like these poles. They are durable enough for how and where I intend to use them. I appreciate that they are so affordably priced.

These trekking poles hit the sweet spot between solid construction and trail-friendly comfort. The aluminum build feels rugged enough for serious mileage but still light enough to carry all day. The anti-shock springs take the edge off downhill jolts, and the foam grips are cushy without getting slippery, basically, your hands stay happy even on long treks but these are even great for walking around your neighborhood.Pros:Stronger than your average poles (7075 aluminum = no joke)Anti-shock springs = kinder on knees and wrists, especially on descentsQuick-lock system holds firm and adjusts easilyComes ready with terrain tipsCons:Minimum length might be a bit long for kids or shorter hikersDoesn’t pack down super short—better for trail use than travel backpacksNot carbon fiber-light, but a solid trade-off for the durabilityWish it came with storage for the extra tips, etc.
