Bought this to replace a first generation. Extremely cheap with low quality materials. Very uncomfortable on my RT. Company should be embarrassed allowing their product construction and quality to drop so low

Purchased this for my BMW R1200RT just prior to an 11 day trip. Have to say, other than fiddly straps under the seat, it worked well for me. Helped make the long days in the saddle tolerable. Never got the tailbone ache, helped with the wrists (elevated my body a slight bit) and I never got off the bike feeling sore. Worth the purchase.

This product is not with what they ask. Did it help? Maybe. A little? It's really hard to say. Followed instructions and honestly after about 3 hours, maybe 4, I felt like it just wasn't helping anymore and holding up to its promise. Took it for an 11 hour ride (turned 16 due to frequent stops) to PA. On the way home I took it off and did not use it and I started to lose comfort after about 6-7 hours. With that said, I would recommend the product as maybe I have a weird butt, but imo it's very expensive and there are cheaper options that I can't imagine are much different as far as how they work and are made. Hope this was helpful. I'm thinking it might not be the sure fire answer you were looking for.

My girlfriend rides pillion with me (which is not the most comfortable place at the best of times!) and having damaged her coccyx when she was young, on our longest ride so far (about 4 hours in total) she could barely walk by the time we got back.So I bought this for her and it has worked perfectly - rode pretty much all day a couple of weeks ago and was as comfy as!Expensive but worth it...I'll be buying one for me in the near future...

Hay que probarlo varias veces hasta que le dejas el aire justo. Al principio le dejaba mucho aire y me sentía más alto y no era cómodo. Al final conseguí dejarle el aire justo y pude realizar 600km sin sentir molestias.

Hey, I just got back from the road test and this AirHawk is a real Butt saver. I went on a long ride last year without this AirHawk and my seat turned into sandpaper in 600 miles. (it was no fun). I just got back from a 3500 mile trip and I will never go without this AirHawk. I could have rode 10,000 mile If I had more time... Great product. All you need is a little bit of air in it and WOW. very comfi. NY to FL. otw back GA to Deals Gap (12 hours riding 1 day) and back to NY. What a ride.

Really comfortable but not suitable for a bike that is ridden anything other than very smoothly. Even when firmly secured to the existing bike seat the user slides about too much for comfort. My wife found it the same in the pillion position, she found herself shifting about far to much.We have however adapted our airhawk small pillion pad (rectangle shape) we purchased into a really effective pad for a top box backrest.A highly recommended product for a very steady rider that wants to do some long distance riding. Just not so suitable for those of us who push their rides that bit harder.

Nice ride with this seat. I love my Indian Springfield and the leather seat looks awesome but the leather is hard, even after a year. Rather than buy a new seat, I decided to try this for a softer ride on longer trips and it's awesome! What a difference! Plus, you get 60 days to try it out and if you don't like it, it's fully refundable! Who does that?A note to anyone who tries this seat: You don't need much air for a good ride and it's easy to put in too much! A couple times around the block and adding/removing air and it's great. Plus it's way cooler than the stock seat in our warm Florida weather. It breathes too so you don't sweat like you do on a stock seat.

This seat is amazing! I went from only being able to ride for 20 min with my husband as a passenger to riding all day long. I used to hurt so bad from just short rides around town now I'm in better shape after riding then my husband. It made riding Pennsylvanian pot hole rides smooth and less bumpy. This seat is perfect solution for anyone with butt discomfort whether you are a passenger or the rider. Cheaper then buying a whole new seat for both of us. Going to purchase another one for the drivers seat.

I have used this for one season, and it really does make the seat comfortable for long tours. It's a terrific improvement over the stock bench seat. It's primarily for long tours, as the cushion's "disconnected" feeling isn't good for short rides or spirited riding. It removes your connection from the bike, which is a detriment for sporting rides, but a benefit for long tours. Use only a minimum of air.Note that I had an earlier version, the non-R version without the center channel. This did not work for me, as it crowed my genitals. This version, the R, has a channel down the center that makes all the difference. It lives up to the claims.

OK, Let me say that the pad does work, but (butt?) there is information that is important to potential buyers.First, it is very important to sit on the pad and get your relation where your butt fits on the pad. This is important, for every time you sit on the pad, you must be very close to the same location. This is because of the interconnected cells. If you are more forward or more rearward, the cells you are not sitting on will fully inflate and leave you resting totally on the seat. I do not see this as a drawback, but information you need to be aware of.Second, if your bike seat is narrow, the pad will help, but will only extend your time before your butt starts hurting. This is due to the amount of area holding up your weight. Any seat that will enlarge the amount of area supporting your weight will help, and the pad will make this very comfortable.I would give this five stars, but I wish Airhawk was much more clear on the availability of the neoprene bladders and such. I did purchase a poly, but would have much rather had this in the better material. The pad works, so I can't complain too much, but my bike will need a wider seat to extend my riding range more.FYI, My bike is a 2011 BMW R1200RT with the low seat(stock).
