I compared this camera to more expensive ones and decided to give it a try. I took it to Sedona for my second weekend of learning to mountain bike and found the battery life to bed very long, around 2 hours per battery. The second battery inside a case was just what I needed to carry it on the bike. The recording is extremely high quality. I used a chest mount purchased separately for it and found that I needed to put the image upside down and rotate the camera up quite a bit to get the trail in the right place in the picture. I purchased a 256 GB card and it easily handled 3 days of 2-3 rides each day of 2 hours or so. Highly recommend this camera!

I used this camera for a scuba diving trip. The camera worked well. The only issue was it needs a red filter to compensate for the red that is filtered out by the water. Slate pencil urchin, Eucidaris tribuloides

We did a lot of research to decide which underwater camera to purchase. Settled on this one - due to price and reviews found on the internet. The packing is top notch. Comes with 2 batteries and one 64 gb microcard. Pleasantly surprised by all the accessories quality. Purchased for a cruise to scuba dive. Nice size viewing area for pictures considering the camera size. Charging cord is a decent length. There is an app to use with the camera. Using it soon, will update.

We are planning a trip to Costa Rica, and the cheap sports camera I have currently is okay, but I wanted to get something of higher quality for our bodyboarding, snorkeling, and ziplining. My daughter-in-law has the latest GoPro, and its pretty great, but out of my budget. After scrolling here, and watching a TON of YouTube videos, I decided to pick up this Akaso Brave 4, and boy am I glad I did!I was stoked to try it out, of course, but wanted to make sure the battery was fully charged, but HOLD ON A MINUTE! This camera came with TWO batteries, and a charger that charges both at the same time. While I was charging the batteries, I went through the pile of extras that came with it. I can't think of a single situation where I'd need a mount that's not included. And a 64 gig SD card? Way to go, Akaso!I love the picture and video quality! The dual screen makes it easy to get great clips and pics, but also is great in selfie mode, for vlogging our trip. When we get back from our trip, I'll add some pics and video clips, so you can see for yourself how great this bad boy works underwater, with a selfie stick, and on a gimbal.Do yourself a favor, and order this camera before everyone else finds out about it, and the price goes way up.

2 of my grandsons 7 and 8 yrs old got these for their birthdays. The other 2 grandsons 8and 4yrs old are eagerly awaiting theirs for this Christmas Eve. The cameras are perfect for young boys. It gets them outside and recording themselves, each other or wildlife. My grandsons can use them at the lake, in their pools, motorcycle riding, Football and baseball games, wakeboarding, hunting etc. They record well and are waterproof. They have been on sale for Christmas. So it’s an extra good value.

Excellent and up to 4K imaging from a very reasonably priced quality product. Tons of accessories included in the package providing plenty of use options. Both photo and video options with an easy to use on-screen menu. Two batteries with charger included. WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR?

I have a GoPro Hero black, this camera is not on the same level. The door to the battery on the akaso is low quality compared to the go pro, and having to use a clear case to maintain waterproofing is not on the same level. GoPro is hands down great when recording individual action, such as biking, skiing/boarding and the like. The akaso will get the job done, but you will need to get the additional microphone too if capturing sound is important because the case covers up the built in mic. However, for the price and my use case I would have given the akaso 5 stars instead of 4, and I may purchase another one next year. My use case is to record U15 soccer on a budget and this camera knocks it out of the park. I am a coach, and I use it for analysis. I need something easy for a parent volunteer to set it and forget it, and something that can easily be managed post match day (I do not have time for a lot of editing). While the league my team plays in is in a competitive grouping, it is not on the level of a club/traveling team and does not warrant getting one of those expensive systems that follows the ball. I also like to better see what is happening off the ball. Bonus, I like shooting action pics too, so having another action camera will mean that it will be put to use when not playing soccer. The akaso It has a built in day/time imprint (GoPro does not), records longer clips than the GoPro and the battery life lasts an entire game (something that the GoPro only does with the enduro battery). The bundle came with tons of accessories, two batteries, a storage card, and was on sale for just a little over $100 dollars. The akaso 4K brave has a wide angle view, so you can put two cameras on a tripod at midfield and get offense and defense videos that you can make sense of later. The quality is still good and suits my needs perfectly. In fact, akaso post production videos are far easier to manage than GoPro. It has a phone app, but it is a little clunky to use and I don't like to use them on any action camera because those really eat up battery life.I highly recommend this for recording sports (basketball, baseball, lacrosse) if you are looking for a budget option for analysis purposes (and not necessarily highlight reels).
