This is a nice phone rig for the price! First off, it feels extremely well made and doesn't feel cheap. It does take some assembling before it can be used, but it was still easy to setup. It includes everything I needed to use it. The actual rig itself is easy to hold for an extended period of time and I have no complaints in that department. It uses magnets to attach the phone to the rig and it is quite strong and I had no fear when using it. I've used this quite a few times now and I must say I don't do any filming now without it. Even when put together, it is still pretty compact and I am able to easily take it with me on the go. All things considered, this is a really nice, premium feeling rig and it works very well for my needs!

So this product is made by Ulanzi, they typically make quality products and this one is no exception. I am using this with my S22 Ultra with a magsafe case. This is a large cage, but that's actually a good thing. If you are getting this to actually rig out, having it be bigger means you can attach more accessories to it, think lights, mics, etc... And you can put a lot of things on this cage. When shooting horizontally here are the options:-On top there are 2 cold shoe mounts and 5 1/4" mounts, 3 of which are also handle position options-On each side there is a cold shoe mount and 2 1/4" mounts, both of which are also handle options-On the bottom there are 2 cold shoe mounts and 4 1/4" mounts, 2 of them are handle options. Now you would never attach that many things, but it's nice to have the options. The magsafe ring screws into the middle of the bottom, using the included allen wrench. The handles have a piece at the end that only allows them to go into certain spots, but that seem to make them more secure. When installing the handles, just put them into the slot you want then twist the knob on the handle to tighten them down. This knob also allows you to position the handle how you need. One of the slots on the top of the cage allows you to use one of the handles as a top handle, but I don't know how useful that will be, since you can't see your phone screen that well in that mode. But again, it is nice to have the options. This is a very well made, sturdy phone cage. I have not had any issue with my phone or accessories falling off. One use case for me is when I'm going to film with my phone is to attach this cage to a tripod and then put a mic and a light on the cage. It makes for a pretty good phone system. If you are in the market for a phone cage you can't really go wrong with this one.

Since this uses the mag mount it's a really large cage. More than I could handle. So I returned it.

Cellphone cameras have, over time, become really good at photos and videos to the place where I almost exclusively use cellphones for videos. However, holding a cellphone stable is a different thing. Sometimes, inadvertently, you have momentary shakes caused by a single hand hold and sometimes you end up covering the lens in the middle as you readjust your grip. Fear not, this video rig takes care of all of it.- It is pretty big so it can cover most any cellphone in the market. I would even say, probably smaller tablets.- The magsafe magnet is strong enough for my Samsung S23 ultra. It connects to the case via a 1/4" screw and so you can replace the magsafe holder with a regular phone mount if it fits inside the rig.- the two handles on the phone are very comfortable to hold and can be tilted at an angle to make it more comfortable. I have it set to about 15 degrees and it makes it easier for me to hold.- The whole thing is CNC aluminum with lots of cold shoe connectors and mounting points. There aren't really any cons to this thing. I mean if you are going to use a Video rig, you are not necessarily looking for something that fits in your pocket I assume as this definitely will not fit a pocket. A small satchel or a backpack is necessary.Overall, a well constructed, amazing video rig with no need to buy anything else to make it work.5/5

This video rig is very well designed and constructed. Simple assembly of the handles and MagSafe mount took me 5 minutes. Once assembled a phone with magnetic charging capabilities can be mounted on the rig and video can be shot from the rig. The handles are adjustable so that the video can be shot at the correct angle. There are plenty spaces where lights, microphones or a tripod can be easily added. The handles on the rig add more stability to your handheld video shoots while conveniently placing the tools you need for best results . Another plus is that the spaces for the MagSafe mount, lights, mics and tripod can be found on all four sides of the rig’s body so you can easily reconfigure all elements to shoot in whatever orientation is best. The rig is very solidly constructed of aluminum that can stand up to tough environments while being lightweight and easy to transport. Also, there’s an adhesive magnetic ring included that you can attach to older phones that don’t have MagSafe so they can be used on this rig as well.

This video cage is big, I mean big. It's over a foot long from end to end. My pictures show the rig holding an iPhone 15 Pro Max so it's the largest phone in Apple's current line. it's made with aluminum alloy so it's sturdy and the handles are made so that they fit into slots and screw in so there's no wiggle or shaking of the phone while you hold it. There are several cold shoe mounts as well as several 1/4" screw mounts so that the entire rig can be held up on a tripod.I ordered this rig so that I don't have to hold the phone on the sides while recording videos and risk my fingers interfering into the camera lens. I think that's why most people use it. Since the phone is held on via magsafe, one could add a shotgun microphone, or lights to the rig to be used long term, and just attach the phone when needed.Well constructed and sturdy so should last a while.
