I used this to mount an old fish finder on my dad's boat for him. Worked like a charm, and with the angles this provided, I was able to put the fish finder up and away from the gauges. At first thought it was pricey, but worth it in the end.

Very cheap, does not hold any amount of weight. Mounted on the bow of my boat to hold my cell phone. Does not hold! Save yourself the money and buy a Ram mount.

This mount worked perfect for mounting a second fish finder at the bow of my small bass boat. It is nice and sturdy and when tightened down allows no movement of,the finder.

I bought this off of a recommendation as I'm building a live scope unit for my kayak. First I want to say that the material is all metal with the exception of the ball itself, which is a nice change from many of the plastic manufactured products that are similar. The only down side is that it doesn't clasp as tight at the ball joints as a RAM mount.I bought it based off of a recommendation to hold a Garmin 106sv. It fits but with all of the wiggle and smaller B ball sized base I'm afraid it'll break or give at some point so I returned it.That being said I would recommend it if you have a 5-7" graph. It should be more than sturdy enough to handle that with and because of it's mostly metal design you shouldn't have to worry about anything breaking in the long run.

We are actually using this to hold the "head" part of a mobile amateur radio in my hubby's car. We are pleased with the result. Though we didn't use the base part, just the arm and the mounting plate (Attaching them to another ball mount on a bar in the Jeep), The result has been perfect. The radio stays exactly as it is set and can be adjusted around the movement limits of the ball it is attached to, but it stays where we set it.All components are very sturdy/"beefy" in their construction, so we are certain they will last for however long we need it.

I like the hole thing is metal! Thumb screw is perfect I think I have room on my dash so use the cup holders right next to it. Mounting holes on the bracket lined up perfectly on the helix 9 gimbal mount. I recommend to a friend of mine for his boat. And $50 heck yeah! Beats the pants off ram brand for $120! Again have not been down the water to see how it holds up to wake abuse
