I have gone through several vinyl blinds and the slats broke or the wand would break. I have aluminum blinds in other parts of the house that have been up for 15+ years so I decided to get these I know they cost more, but they will save you in the long run plus these are easy to install.

These blinds have very flimsy and thin slats & easily bend. The 2 part plastic rods won’t stay together. (Had to super glue together) The instructions were not clear at all in the metal bracket placement nor direction of mounting the bracket. Finally after 2 whole days, I finally got 4 installed. For dark blinds, brown, sunlight still shines through. Very disappointed.

i love that these are cordless. the ones they replaced were corded and were annoying to use and operate as you had to move the cord waaaaay over to the left to release the locking mechanism. no such issues here. installation was very straightforward and the included brackets worked well and thankfully weren't bent or damaged as i read in a few other reviews. they look great and seem to be well made in that they'll last a long time. the only thing i would strongly urge is to make very sure of the size you're ordering and whether you want inside or outside mount.

My bathroom window really needs to be replaced but until that time-I'm doing the basics to "dress it up". This bathroom window is on the driveway side of the house. Even though, I covered the window with a privacy film that has a sun-catching pattern that highlights with many colors; the window still needed a shade. This shade is very nice! (1) It sits perfectly in the window; there aren't any side gaps (which is important considering the shower/bathtub is directly next to this window, (2) the color is a warm white/not boring beige nor "washed-out white", (3) the length is perfect also, (4) my uncle didn't complain about hanging the shade. This shade would be perfect for a window (standard) that needs an upgrade/nice shade to provide privacy. Another good shade selection!
