About this item

  • 10 mm internal diameter (ID) eyes

Upgrade your old shocks with a replacement set of two 12" adjustable shocks for go-karts and dirt bikes. Mounting a new set of shocks is more than just routine maintenance, it means a more comfortable ride. Bad shocks can damage tires or cause an abnormally jarring and rough ride. You can prevent these problems by replacing your damaged or worn out old shocks with these high-quality replacement adjustable shock sets for go-karts and mini bikes.
These 12" beauties are available in several size versions, the determining factor being the internal diameter (ID) of the mounting eyes. We offer these in the three most common ID varieties; 10mm (with red spring), 12 mm, and 3/8" (with a sharp looking chrome spring). Shock absorbers in these sizes are compatible with a wide range of go-kart and mini bike models. Just determine the internal diameter (ID) size that you need for your go-kart or dirt bike and get ready for a smoother, less tooth-chattering, non-bone-rattling day at the track.

I bought these to replace what I am nearly certain were the stock shocks on all four corners of a used Manco XTK-706B go-kart I recently picked up. The reviews were mixed, but these looked like my best bet and I went ahead and bought to packs of two. I just installed them and feel like they were a good value even if they aren't exactly amazing.Sort of in response to other reviews I saw here...I am not sure these have any true damping of any kind, but they don't appear to be any different than any other go-kart shock I've seen in that regard. They certainly aren't any worse about returning too fast and bouncing around than the stock shocks were. The springs are definitely softer than the factory shocks were, but that was a huge part of why I wanted them and they are not overly soft or squishy. The way they came seems perfect for my go-kart setup and I could adjust them tighter if I wanted to.They might not be as robust as the stock shocks, but they seem well assembled and of reasonable quality especially considering the price. I will be surprised if they don't hold up well enough over time to be about what I expect a go-kart shock to be.I'll update the review if anything changes, but these were definitely an upgrade on my Manco XTK-706B from what I can tell.

Tried these on the front of my golf cart, but they were too soft. Not a lot of weight on the front of the cart, but they stayed mostly compressed even after getting off the cart. Seem like good quality, though. I would have been happy with them if they worked for my application.

Decent shocks but, seem to be undampened. Put these on my stock yerfdog 3206 rear swing arm. They look good but, seem to resonate and cause the kart to "twerk" once the kart is driven more than 5-10mins. Like the oil is getting too hot and the shocks are experiencing "shock fade". Not bad shocks, just don't believe they are 150cc shocks. The upper spring flange is very thin and small, no issues yet but, planning on upgrading to longer travel dampened coil overs soon. These worked great but, only because my stock shocks self distructed. So in summary, I would put these on a moped or a smaller kart but, seem under valved or under sprung for a 150cc kart.

Used these to replace some tired shocks/springs on a go kart we are fixing up. Beefier than the originals and look great.

It has the smaller bolt holes but I pressed them out and swapped them with my sportster Harley grommets. They work surprisingly well. Sporty springs are $400 so I took the savings and bought a nos kitπŸ˜„
