From the Manufacturer

Since 1972, Amana Tool has been producing router bits and has become the global leader in its field. In fact, the company was the first manufacturer to produce router bits according to the Holz BG German standard for safety and quality. This standard contains rules that determine the structure and quality of the tool's material in order to create the safest environment for the user. From its beginning, Amana Tool has always used the highest quality materials, and its tools are produced using unique technologies, a majority of which were developed and built by the company's engineers following decades of testing and experience. For example, Amana Tool uses carbon alloy steel for its router bits that contains vanadium particles. This improves the structural integrity of the steel and prevents corrosion and defects in the internal structure of the material that can lead to cracks and breaks. High-tech machinery processes the carbon alloy steel to manufacture the router bodies in a single clamping. This yields router bits with superior balance, centricity, precision and symmetry. 2 Flute The ideal laminate trimming bits for high-volume production! Solid carbide and integral pilot (no bearing to maintain) extend life of bit, slim configuration reduces vibration. Suitable for routers and trimmers.

I disassembled an arcade cabinet and applied vertical laminate to the both the inside and outside walls. The inside walls had 1/4 channels where the pieces joined together. The was the only bit I could find with a short enough guide that I could flush route the laminate without bottoming out the bit in the channel. Nice cleans cut as well

Worked great and still working, Tried to cut it off and make a stubby cutter and it broke, my fault. Just continued using the left over long side.

Las brocas de Amana suelen ser más costosas que las de su competencia, pero lo justifica la calidad de sus filos y materiales. Bastante a gusto al utilizarla cortando melaminas.

It was the right tool for the job.I had made shallow dado's for t-track in my router table top and needed to trim the laminate I glued to the top.All of the router bits with bearings placed the cutter outside the dado.

I purchased this bit to make kitchen counters using wilsonart laminate. The bit worked as intended. I read about the design of this bit causing scratches when it is used against one laminate face while trimming another. A bit of grease (one pro uses crisco!) applied to the first face eliminates this. Using this bit with purchased sheet laminate and particle board saved me half the cost of ordering counters from theBig Box stores!

Great bit. It was hard to find but has done a great job at cleaning out shallow Datos. I have used take the grove off of the back of rail and style doors to insert glass.

I like the no frills approach to laminate trimming these bits work well the only think is necessary is for some type of lube on the rub point. I have not used the bevel bit yet but am quite certain that if your laminate trimmer is set correctly it will give the results that one is looking for.
