A few years ago, our founder was looking to buy a quality American flag online, only to discover that the majority of the American flags available were made in China!
After some thorough research, he decided to fix this by creating a quality, all-weather American flag from scratch to ensure it was made in the USA. Thus, Star Spangled Flags was born.

A “Made In America” American flag! It’s very well made, sturdy, double stitched, and bright colors. I chose nylon because it holds color longer and resists weathering too. Thanks for the good ‘ol’ American quality!

I have tried many brands, and this turned out to be the only durable one for my outdoor usage. It lasts a year with strong wings, rain, and snow. Small damage doesn't grow progressively as with other flags, so even if it has minor cosmetic defects after a full year of usage, it still looks good overall.

I will not give a product five stars until it gets the test of time. Two issues with flags are a constant PIA(Pain in the A$$). Fading and tearing. This is a Nylon product and it should retain colors better than cotton fabrics. However. I do not see this is being a very tough/durable flag, just standard. Quality is good, but it just has standard stitching levels in key areas and the weight of the nylon seems to be standard as well not heavier than normal. I am looking for value over time, the pricing is OK. I am glad to be supporting American made and would pay more for a heavier duty flag.. Stay tuned if it performs better than expected I will post and update. For now the Value is OK.

One of the most important things is that this Flag is made in the good ol' US of A!!!!! The other things are, it is extremely well-made and bright, and it is now flying proudly on our Neighbourhood Flagole, alongside our Ontario & Canadian Flags. I WILL be back come replacement time for this Flag, as it is just beautiful & came in a timely manner, too. ps., sometimes, you get just what you pay for, and most often, quality counts!~~~
