Hey, Just because you don't have much room to work with isn't an excuse to skimp on some subs! We offer a custom fit enclosure for your 1998-2001 Dodge Ram extended or crew cab truck. Our dual 10″ enclosure is designed to specifically slide directly under the rear bench seat and avoid any passenger leg room loss. The enclosure is a down firing model which both greatly increases the SPL level output and keep the subs of out view to avoid theft. Most entry to mid level subwoofers will drop directly into this box but be sure to check the mounting depth!

Our boxes are made from precision cuts of MDF. They are then liquid nailed, nailed and completely sealed. We then wrap them with high quality carpet that matches most vehicle interiors. All Boxes feature high grade spring loaded terminal cup(s) for the absolute best connection possible. All the custom series enclosures are made to fit precisely into your 98-01 Dodge Ram Extended or Crew Cab to the get the max performance from every extra inch of wasted space.

Box came already completely sealed but I still went over it again just because of other reviews. Feels quality. Fit my 01 Ram 2500 seamlessly.

Not sure why it smells so bad, the fabric. Literally haven’t installed for that reason. I’ve tried spraying it with everything and It makes my truck smell horrible.

Fit my 96 just fine, I did have to raise the seat an inch though. Got some spacers from the hardware store for a couple bucks, only took a couple extra minutes to unbolt the rear seat and raise it some.Fits flush to the front of the seat when installed properly.

It was as described, it fits in my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 sport. mine was sealed pretty good I didn’t have to seal anything up besides the terminal connectors. I bought 2 10” MTX terminator series subs. I was not disappointed at all. For a budget system it sounds pretty decent. I was disappointed that the box didn’t go as far back as a I hoped but I only haul my kids in the back seat and it’s perfect for them. I had to bend one of the mounts for my stock bottle jack and set it perfectly in the middle and seat goes up and down with ease. It really is a plug and play box as long as you know what your doing. The only thing I wish was different was the box doesn’t contour to the curves that well. Would be nice if it was flush in the front so my kids small toys don’t get under the sub box.

Ordered and arrived very quickly, so that is a plus. Also, carpet was in pretty good shape, even though there were a few small bare spots where you could see the wood on the outside (mostly in the corners). I read other reviews that said I would need to seal before installing the subs, and they weren’t wrong. I inspected the inside and could see that they definitely skimped on the liquid nail. There were even a couple areas I found where the wood had an 1/8” gap. No worries though, just grabbed some wood screws and caulking and it did the trick. Just make sure you do have some caulking on hand when you do get the box, I even unscrewed the terminal plates and sealed those since I was at it.I can definitely see where people in the review had trouble with how the box sits in the truck. You can either have it tucked all the way back so you gain about 3 inches of leg room, but your seat won’t lock, or It sits flush with the front of the seat but does make it somewhat difficult to operat the seat levers. A couple people I saw added spacers to their seat brackets to raid the seat up to fix this problem, but all I did was lay the box down into position, lock the seat, and wedge the box back as far as I could get it. It sits a little further back now, and it’s wedged into place.Overall, sound wise it’s great. I figured I would need to seal it myself once I got it, but I can’t complain considering I only paid $88 for a custom box. If anyone is wondering or doesn’t like to read description and details and is wondering what kind of subs will or won’t fit, don’t use any subs deeper than a 5 1/2” mounting depth. If you do need to use deeper subs, get a set of speaker rings to increase depth a little. I have 2 JL 10w1v3-4 subwoofers with a 4.4” mounting depth, and they fit beautifully. I apologize for the lengthy review, just trying to cover any questions others might have. Great box for the price, nice and sturdy, doesn’t feel cheap at all, just seal it yourself before installing!-DrewP.S. I will try to upload pictures when time permits.

After owning my 2001 Dodge RAM 1500 Extended Cab for nearly 18 years, I decided to finally complete the audio package with a pair of subwoofers. I bought this box being a little hesitant that it would fit, but it fits great! I put in two JL WOV3 10" subs (SVC - 4ohm) wired in parallel to present a 2 ohm load on the amplifier. The JL's were a little too deep at the edge, so I bought spacers and cut them down to about 3/8" on my table saw. Glued and screwed the spacers on before putting in the JLs and it all worked great!Box is heavy and of good construction. I am enjoying having some bass in my truck that I have been missing all these years.I connected the sub to a JBL Club 4505. JL 6x9's it the doors and Alpine Type R 6.5" coaxials in the back. Very happy with my setup.

It took a couple small adjustments to make the box fit how i wanted it to fit but i am very pleased with the way it sounds and believe me i am hard to please. Just make sure when you seal the inside of the box better with some silicone before you install your woofers because for some reason these guys dont realize how important it is to see you a box with silicone. Other than that the box is well made. I installed a couplePioneer TS-SW2501S41200 Watts Max, 10" Single 4 Ohm Shallow Mount Subwoofers and hit hits ALOT deeper and harder then I expected!! I used the 5 channel audiopipe amp (1600w) that i also run my highs with. These woffers are made a little bit bigger than regular time so all I did was use a grinder with the sanding wheel and made the whole for the woofer a little bit bigger but it was DEFINITELY worth the effort!!
