Does not fit a 12inch sub nor does it fit a 2007 Chevy truck. Don’t waste your money or time. In order to make it work you would need to make the holes larger and also cut the box. Seller is unresponsive to return this product.Trust me, you will thank me later

Fit was a little snug and the bottom will inevitably get scratched when installing but nonetheless the built quality is great!

This box fit perfect no need to modify or such like I've seen people say . I have a 2005 avalanche and put 2 Kenwood standard size speakers it will fit normal size speakers in box no modification needed or have to get those over priced shallows. You don't need a lot of power once in you back seat its right there. I ran a set of Kenwood 12's and a Kenwood 400 watt amp and its loud with a good sound and didn't kill the budget.

This box does not fit properly under the seat until you notch out the left and right rear corners of the box so that it can fit pass the bolts on the seat frame. It would have been a great fit if ASC had done this mod to their production line for this box. I have seen reviews of others who have reported on this same issue. The rest of the box is solid and fits over everything else - reason for the 4 star.I have a 2008 Chevy Ava LTZ and there are two large bolts protruding through large round nuts that are welded to the seat frame on the inside rear of both sides of the rear seat frame. These nuts prevent the box from sitting flat in between the frame. I had to cut a 1/4" deep by 3/4" wide by 2" notch at each lower rear corner of the box so that it will pass the frame nut. I cut and peel back the fabric and then use my Dremel tool with a multi-purpose cutting bit to create the notches - VOILA! it just drops right in. The seats folds don't OK but not far enough to latch back - not a big deal and you really do not notice it much. It really is a tight space to stuff two 12" sub-woofers. I had to do more mods to support my choice of speakers but had nothing to do with the box.Tip: For those who want to use Pioneer TS-3000 series subs in this box, be prepared to widen the speaker opening on the box and remove the raised lip ring as these speakers are wider in circumference than normal 12" subs and the lip will definitely cause the speaker to hit the bottom of the seat and prevent the seat from folding flat..

really well made and nice, fits perfect and sounds great. But whatever you do don't purchase and try installing the. Pioneer ts-sw3002s4's in this thing. Basically had to build a whole new top to this thing and it took hours, and having to remove the trim ring made me lose a little bit of room for the bump.
