American Made CNC Chip Clearing Fan
RedLine Tools Turbo chip fan is designed to make the messy and time-consuming job of clearing your workpiece or fixture of material chips and debris, a snap. Now this process can be automated improving your productivity. This tool is 100% manufactured and assembled in the USA.
Steel Shank
The shank is made out of high quality U.S. 4140 steel. The shank has a Weldon-Flat which allows the utilization of an endmill holder.
Long-Lasting Blades
All fan blades are made with glass fiber reinforced nylon for long-life and abrasion resistance.
Steel Hardware
Steel springs and hardened hardware. Hardware is designed for easy replacement.
Coolant Through
Coolant-through shaft for washing your part prior fan use.

This thing worked wonders in our Mazak 530. Cleared about 80 percent of the chips and coolant off of our parts and fixturing. I was super stoked about this, as it will take a massive load off of our operators—allowing them to focus their attention on getting parts fixtured up more efficiently.I was so excited about the performance of this product that I threw it in our Mazak 510 to see if it could clear out some deep, coolant filled pockets. Again, it worked great, but when I went to put away the tool, that’s where the issue reared its head.The 530 I initially used this tool in features a shutter-style closure between the magazine and the ATC arm. The 510 features a bristle-style baffle (see pictures). When the tool was returned to the magazine, one of the blades was caught up in the bristles and then snapped off when the magazine indexed.This is an amazing product, but may be problematic if the blades can get moved around during transitions.

Product does what it's supposed to do. Is well made and because it's made in the USA arrived very quickly. We actually bought two to be installed in two of our VMCs

Chip fan is a time saver, added a few paths to end of cycle in every program. Saves operator time and less chance of them getting the ole chip in the eye blowing off parts. Super happy with it. Slightly wider than the 2.5” max tool holder width (without empty pockets each side) for a 40+1 changer in a haas, but because the widest point is farther out than any of my tools widest points, it will never be an issue... with my current tool library at least. Love it

Most useful for machine tending. When I'm swapping parts I'd rather blow the chips and coolant off and save some time.
