The filter fits fine in my old 1990, 80 series Kenmore dryer. It has been working well for at least a month. Only time will tell if it holds up. It is a bit stiff pulling it in and out, but it is not a big deal. It still appears to seat properly.

When I searched for a replacement lint trap for my 1978 Kenmore dryer this came up. It’s close but a tight fit. I’m concerned long term because the sides are plastic & the original was metal.

This is my 3rd one that I’ve purchased and finally I found the product that holds up to my husband and son that aren’t the most gentle when removing the lint. This one has been sturdy and fixed our issues!

This filter fits my old Kenmore dryer well. It is the same on dimensions as the original filter, so it is simple to use.
