Not sure if I am ready happy with what I got. There is no real spot that is in the middle between left and right. And this will NOT work for LED lights with out buying a different relay. ( $20. ). Threes are better option out there

Great build quality for the low price tag. Looks just as good as more expensive ones out there that doesn’t come with a flasher. I’ve ordered two of these and installed them in two of my Polaris rangers. They work great on them and fit the pre 2016 steering column perfectly. I didn’t like the chrome housings on my black and blue project one I’m building so I disassembled one of them to paint the housing. I have to say I was impressed with the internals. Went back together as easily as it came apart. Over all I’m very pleased with this item.

The flasher relay they included with this item was not the correct flasher. As a result, it will only allow the turn signals (tail lights, bonkers etc) to blink, OR the lights on the turn signal switch at the dash to illuminate…NOT BOTH. Don’t waste your time trying to make it work because it won’t.I ordered what looked like the exact same turn signal switch from another supplier and it did have the correct flasher and worked perfectly. The flasher has to have something similar 49/49a terminal wise if you want to google it.

I installed this switch in a 1991 Ford F-150. It was a fairly routine installation but has some drawbacks. First, this particular one did not come with instructions/wiring diagram, I had to look at one online. Second, the supplies hose clamp to secure the switch to the steering column was too small, so a trip to the hardware store is a must. Despite the aforementioned issues, it looks and functions great. I just have to get in the habit of switching it off when I make turns and lane changes…

Here's my assessment: 1. It works (half-way). 2. Either the tail-lights/ hazard lights work, or the little indicator lights on the switch - not both (a design flaw, as numerous other buyers have pointed out). 3. The flasher unit is worthless without a female receptacle with 3 wires to connect to the main turn-signal unit. I had to get a female receptacle CF-13 unit with wires to plug the flasher unit into at NAPA for $6. 4. The wiring diagram, as several other reviewers have noted, is wrong. But the seller fails to correct it. I connected, as per the wiring diagram on the box, the "L" flasher wire to the blue wire from the turn-signal unit, and the black (E-) wire from flasher unit to the black wire from main turn-signal unit. As many other reviewers pointed out, I had to cut the wires and reverse them to get the actual hazard/turn signal lights to work. Another wrong instruction on the box. 5. When connected so the actual hazard/turn signal lights work, the indicator lights on the turn-signal unit itself, do not work. Another design flaw. An extremely frustrating experience, but I thank the prior reviewers for pointing out all the flaws in the design of the unit. Be sure to ignore the limited wiring instructions for blue and black wire on the box. Just reverse them first before you connect them. You will be happy later.
