Just don't make the mistake I did and have to tear it back down. Make sure you locktite all of the grub screws. I thought about it, but then I thought almost everything you buy of this sort comes from the factory already done. So to save time I only locktited the assembly screws. The very first time I took it out the grub screws backed out enough to cause slipping. Not their fault, great product otherwise.

I have a legacy nitro Stampede (17 years old) and the gear does not fit the transmission. Just a heads up to anyone else. The diff, however, fit just fine into the old one which, thankfully, wasn't broken [yet]. The O-rings that come with it need to be stretched to fit in the little groove, recommending to put them on your fingers and circle them as if twiddling your fingers in circles and put the gear in the freezer to shrink it - anything helps! The product itself is great quality, it's just for the o-ring sizing and frustration I lowered the review, not for it not fitting, that's just the nature of age.

Pros: looks nice send like a quality machined systemCons: set screws will not hold onto the shaft where the gear bolts up. Needs a keyway machined in the center of the shaft for the set screws to lock into will not handle any power level before it slips the shaft and you have to tear the gear box all the way apart

The set screws you tighten to keep the shaft you connect the drive shafts to won't stay tightened, i even changed them to hardened steel set screws. Still came loose gonna try loctite.

The four pins need to be shaved down to make the two halves fit the trans case and if your using the solid diff make sure to red lock tight that good
