Honestly I’ve never replaced a rear driveshaft but I like to think I’m pretty mechanically inclined. When the mechanic told my girlfriend she needed to replace her rear driveshaft shaft for $2000 I looked on YouTube and it didn’t look too difficult so I said I’d do it for her. I did as much research as I could to figure out which drive shaft to order and even the day of I didn’t know if this one would fit. I was working on an all stock 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 3.6L V6 AWD/4WD 2 speed transfer case and it fit perfectly. Her car sounded like shite before and now it hums like a Toyota. Every other site had drive shafts for $1000+ and the shop wanted $2000 for parts and labor. I can’t say this one will last forever but for the price it was worth it and will last long enough for her to realize she should sell the jeep at 100K miles and get a RAV4 bc it will outlive her :) not sponsored just practical

The carrier bearing massively failed after one day. Heavy clanking when rotating. I'll upload a video shortly. Total trash, and I keep getting the "run around" from the seller.

Worked perfectly when I got the right length. Returns are a nightmare, had a service issue when I told them I had a AWD the vin labeled as a 4WD and the person stated the driveshaft wouldn’t work. I explained that I researched it after I got the wrong length and I didn’t want the money back just an exchange. They had the return already but held my money for 8 days. Would not sell me this driveshaft and keep the money.Totally satisfied with the product totally unsatisfactory customer service and support.

This part was perfect at a third the price of the local dealer. It was quick and easy to install. There are about 8 different driveshafts for this model jeep. Most mechanics are clueless on this. The shafts all are slightly different in sizes. Measure the old one first. It is the middle hanging (stabilizer, steady) bracket that is the problem with a rubber ring that wears out but the whole shaft has to be replaced. The transfer cases on jeeps up to about 2015 are the Mercedes ones, that Mercedes replaced when they bought Chrysler - also bulletproof - so a clunking is not likely the transfer or diff (rear bearings are a different story) but the shaft.

My center carrier went out on my 2013 AWD jeep grand cherokee. This fit perfect at half the price of oem.
Perfect fit thank you
