Parts stores wanted around $300 for a reman.. this starter looks exact to the one I pulled out of the car. Went in perfectly, mounted right up. It was so easy I thought I did something wrong. It works great! Sounds powerful, starts up my 2016 Explorer like it's nothing. This starter feels heavy duty and the price can't be beat!

Dealer wanted $500 for a new starter, $250 for diagnosis, $300 for labor, + tax an time. I'm no mechanic but a youtube video, this $65 starter, and less than an hour of my time got it running again. Starts strong and as good as the OEM. Can't speak to longevity.

The starter is installed and works great. I’ll update if it doesn’t last. Could have been installed earlier if the seller had mailed it on time. However, they waited until the day it was 1st scheduled to arrive to put it in the mail. Had to wait, with an non-working car, for another 5 days.
