This works great on our glass fish tank very well. Our pleco died and we had trouble finding a new one locally and algea had gotten on the sides and front of our tank. This cleaned it off easily and I like the longer handle because I'm short and its hard for me to do stuff in the tank unless I get on a step stool. It was easy to use and I am very pleased

Not bad but if you have a light or something hanging over your tank, it’s super hard to get the tool and pole in.

They are all sturdy but lightweight so they won't break easy or be too heavy to make your wrists tired. Easy to use and they dry quickly too after being used so there's not water all over the place pooled up. I really like the sponge it came with. Aquarium looks great and the tools themselves are really easy to clean under hot water and a good scrub as needed!

I use this thing a ton! Love all the different attachments and love that it is telescopic and easy to store. The net in particular is very high quality and great for scooping out the floating algae after i scrap the tank glass!

The pole was very sturdy for me, and had a nice reach on it for getting into the bottom of the tank. However, I think it's very important to state that most of this did not work for me and my circumstances. I believe it is a quality unit from my use of it, but it is definitely meant for a rectangular glass tank and not a plastic tank, or curved tank, both of which I have. All the tools to clean the tank walls would most likely scratch a plastic tank, and I ended up having to flip the pad over and use the velcroesque side as it was the softest tool included. The scoops and net are all great, the metal scraper I wasn't able to use because of my plastic tank but looks like it would work very well if kept dry to prevent rusting. The plant tool I tried using, but struggled with that one which is why I detracted a star. It hooked the plants super well, but really didn't want to release them. Perhaps if my tank was larger and I had more maneuverability I could swing the hook in a way to let the plant go, but I just couldn't in my use.I continue to use this, as it does assist me in cleaning my tank, but it is not the best solution for a curved plastic tank. I would only recommend this for a large rectangular glass tank.

Changing the PH of the water in the tank caused a bloom of white fog for days with a tinge of green. In the corner harbored a splat or two of green algae, which fish like to eat sometimes. In this case, it served as a nursery for tank fogging. Clear the tank chemical worked some, but sediment had coated the inside walls and needed to be dismissed. In comes the six tooled AQQA tool with an adjustable handle, scraper, brush, scrubber, plant mover, sand shovel, and net. Tackling the algae and foam calcification with the scrapper soon made floating reams of wet aquarium snowflakes that floated downward with what formed in the pebbles. The tool assembles with a rod with a twist and snap in for the attachments. Spring loaded, it takes a bit of practice to know when to press and twist to attach. Then, changing out said tool takes some time to coordinate the press, twist, and release. The scrapper has a cover since a steel blade is present upon unveiling. Around the rim, a line of calcification happened, and the bristles dealt with most of it. It became apparent that the fog had coated the pebbles, so the sand shovel let me pick up and shake it all about making aquarium snow. Now, a layer of aquarium snowflakes lay on top of the pebbles so it can be siphoned off easily, which is not in this kit. The kit knocks the debris loose so the filter can process it or be siphoned off. It does that well. The fork let me move around the plants and worked surprisingly well. Forking, let me rearrange the gravel. For the experience, the large net was swooshed around, and it did pick up some snowflake debris, but the finer bits passed through. Kit lets you tackle most of the debris in the tank to prepare it for removal. Other than some difficulty changing attachments, the adjustable rod and the tool pieces ensure a good preparation for siphoning for the deep clean.

I have had to clean some of the glass, but so far only places I can reach without sticking my hands in the tank. So although the brush is great for that, it's unneeded for me (at least at this point)I like the gravel rake a lot. Between the pleco flying around like he's being chased by some horror movie villain, and the snails going back and forth, plus the current from the filters, it's nice to get the substrate less compacted and more loose. It's also helped to loosen up some of the debris and stuff attached to some of the gravel. The rock brush has been good for cleaning up some of the decor, but as I don't really like to remove a lot of that, and leave it to grow and build up for the snails and other foragers, I only used it in a small area to test it out, and it worked well. This set would be helpful in a less established tank though, I think. Maybe when you're still getting parameters and such figured out. Sometimes overusing a heat lamp or something and end up with an overly algaed tank or something. I personally like having all these tools at my disposal. If something ever comes up in my tank, I'd like to be prepared.
