Ordered this because it said it was 2-4 mm in size which is pretty typical aquarium gravel size I would think. What I got was a bag of black sand in which the particle size is less than 1 mm.

Split the substrate between this live aggregate and a sandy like lagoon stays nicely separated. Great for bedding aquatic plants or aquarium faux plants.

I love how clean it is. you can put it right in your tank and it looks great immediately. holds my plants in and keeps them from floating really well too. great for my plants

Took an extra week then came damaged they promptly sent me a new one. The product itself is great the black makes a pleasant contrast to my sand in my aquarium. Will buy again despite the delay
