Really good for mobility, uppercuts, or practicing bobbing and weaving. I got the 35lb. Not sure how the bigger ones would hold up in the long haul.. way easier on the joints than a traditional heavy bag. Filling up wasn't bad. Periodically use it for shoulder presses as well as carrying around for general balance. Owned for 6 months, still holding up good

Great addition to my home gym. Great for shin and foot conditioning. To dense for my dishpan hands though.

I have always hated working on a heavy bag daily as after a few days I would feel it in my joints. This water bag totally eliminates that, great absorption of your punches, and gives a satisfying feeling when landing power shots. With going to the gym not really an option this has worked out great. It's the perfect size for practicing head shots and working on your movement. The bag moves around, but nothing too wild. So far I've had 0 issues with the bag. It did arrive a big deformed and filling it was a challenge to begin with. After a couple days though the bag seemed to relax and I could fill it more easily.

Filled yesterday; used it this AM: Excellent! I use 8' cable, which I sling over a basketball stand in a park, and connect bag with 2 carbiners on each cable end. Yes, you need gloves to train with this! I wear weight train gloves in lieu of wraps, and MMA gloves: Perfect!Biggest challenge: Filling! No access to hose; used Camelbak Hydration Bladder instead: Remove mouthpiece, feed tubing into bag (you might need to use the supplied nipple), and fill from water inside bladder; make sure bladder is higher than bag, so water flows to lowest point (physics!). Keep plug at ready to insert, because when nearly filled, air will start pushing water out of the bag; you don't want that! This is an EXCELLENT solution for solo trainers whose gyms are closed for COVID! Initially, I'd tried carrying heavy bag to park; this proved impractical: Balancing long and heavy 75 lb. bag solo up and down stairs, carrying the heavy (and I do mean, heavy!) bag to park while also carrying backpack with gear, hanging the bag, removing the bag, in 100 degree weather! Nightmare! Never again! Not so with the 12" Aquabag! If you can lift 30-35 lbs., you can do this thing! And, because it's water-filled, the center of gravity will keep it stabilized. Easy to disassemble quickly if you suddenly need to escape and evade juvenile delinquents or other troublemakers. (Hey, it's Baltimore City, after all!)In sum, I hope you're able to make this work as well as I have! Very happy! Much appreciation to my nutritionist, who listened carefully to my dilemma, and proposed this solution! So happy!!! :)

Great bag! Easy set up fast delivery. Just keep in mind that the beam must be able to hold 4x the weight of the bag.

The bag arrived in a very poor state. They seem to be crushed to fit them into a box that is not suitable for the product itself. The images show the shape of the supposed round bag shape. When trying to fill the bag the water just comes back out of the filling cap due to the rigidity of the material not forming into a round shape when the water goes in. These bags need to be dispatched in the shape they should be once filled so the water simply fills to the level of tje filler cap. Why can't they be sent out in the correct shape? Or a valve supplied that can be connected to a foot pump to enable the customer to shape them before filling. It was really disapointing to have to mess around and struggle with filling the bag when it should be very straight forward. However, it does seem to be very good quality and well put together...strong, sturdy materials that should stand up to a hard workout.

I bought this smaller bag to train with my daughter at home after someone gave me the larger bag to try out on my own. I have worked out with full punching bags before but found for home use they tend to move too much. This bag is small but compact. When filled with water it tends to absorb your punches which does 3 things (at least for me)….1. it actually feels like you are hitting something alive as it has some give2. because of its shape you can do proper uppercuts, something that I find hard on normal punching bags3. it does not move a great deal which seemed weird to me at first as it is basically a ball on a stringI would recommend this bag for children to use as a punching bag, or adults looking for more target practice. I would recommend the larger unit for adults.

Ok, so I originally wrote a review a few years ago but I’m scrapping that and here is everything you need to know. The 12 inch (35 lb) Aqua bag is NOT a bag that you’re going to pound away on although you can. The intent of this bad is to practice 1–2-Hook combos, and light uppercuts. Light meaning don’t smash it so it lifts off into the air it’s 35 lbs if filled to the brim.HOW MUCH TO PUT IN: 32 to 33 lbs is the sweet spot I found. Once you get to 34 lbs to 35 lbs, which by the way don’t go over the bad loses the ability to swing easily unless you hit like a tank. I personally have 33 lbs.WHAT IT COMES WITH: The bag, Water filling Nozzle, and a stopper plug. It comes with the horseshoe shackle, but does not come with a chain. Buy a decent one at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Will cost like $6 or $8.HOW HIGH TO HANG: Around head height or a Tad above. The Sensor they sell separately will NOT work with his bag.Ok, so my overall opinion, I like this bag it’s not to replace a slip bag it’s not replace a double End bag, however it gives me the ability to punch and move, slip punches and put some power behind it without going overboard. Now, because it is water based, and water is dense, whatever you’re hanging from make sure it holds at least three times the amount that you’re feeling. For example, it’s 35 pounds, it should be able to hold at least 100 pounds. If you’re looking for a bag that you’re gonna pound away on and put everything you want into it get the next size up. If looking for a bag that you could move, hit and slip this is the perfect bag. They do make a smaller head hunter 9 inch or 12 lbs. It's pointless. Get a slip bag for half the cost or just make one for $10.Oh, make sure you use boxing gloves. Just because it's water and rubber on the outside does not mean you won't get hurt.If I had my personal choice and I had to chose between 3 bags to have. This is a must. And then either a wrecking ball bag or angle bag. Both have major benefits so really all 3 bags but who has thar money... Lol.Have fun and work they footwork

Great training bag, with enough movement to simulate slipping and ducking movements. A bit hard to fill but once you got it up it hassle free and a great workout.

This is an awesome bag but wasn't what I thought it was and was much bigger than I had thought. This was my fault though for not reading all the details. I tried returning it and instead of the seller having me return it, she had me keep it and donate it to a local boys and girls club or boxing club! Who does that? That is an awesome seller right there! I would give her more than five stars if I could! I did find a local boys and girls club that I am donating it to, I just have to drop it off. They we're excited to hear it!

This is the 12" headhunter bag from Aqua punching bags. When full it weighs around 35 pounds. Very easy to fill and hang. This is my first water type bag and I am very pleased. I am a heavy hitter and still not too much movement at only 35 pounds. I am able to move around and duck the bag with ease. An A+ product to add to your training regimen. I have seen videos of pros using these bags such as Canelo and GGG. In closing, please remember to wrap up before putting on gloves to train with this. Anybody who states that they don't wrap is an idiot.
