So in order to improve our packaging, we even did a lot of real scene simulations, such as gravity tests, extrusion tests, etc. In addition, we also improved the packaging structure and packaging methods.

Installation steps - (Wear gloves to keep bulb hygienic). If the installation is abnormal, Araca will provide you with installation guidance.
How to extend the life of the projector bulb
1. After the shutdown, only wait for the fan to stop before disconnecting the power.
2. After turning off the projector, wait at least 60 minutes to reboot.
3. Do not disconnect the power directly during use.
4. No more than 4 hours each use time.
5. Make sure there are no obstacles around the projector to allow the projector to dissipating heat normally.
6. Regularly clean the dust inside the projector and the bulb, otherwise the elevated temperature will cause the projector shut down automatically to protect it.

I purchased this late December and installed mid January for our basement entertainment center which we barely use. Maybe watched half a dozen movies and then suddenly a bad odor and screen went blank. Maybe two months use...My previous light bulb worked for years.

Reasonably priced, brightness and clarity seem to meet OEM bulb. Now the clock ticks and hoping that the bulb life meets the original OEM bulb. Installation was relatively straightforward, but with a ceiling mounted projector does take some time and patience. Otherwise, installation would be a lot easier. Remember to also clean your lense at the same time and dust the fan intake to improve clarity and keep the fan at its optimum functionality. All good for now.

Bulb burned out and I originally ordered another brand. When I installed that brand the bulb just flickered and my projector would turn off. This bulb was a bit more expensive BUT is bright and works no problem. Easy to install and the projector is back up and working again. I got about 6,000 hours out of my OEM bulb, hoping to get close with this one. So far so good!

A lot of these reviews seem to be favorable because the company sent a replacement quickly after the initial one failed. I am in the same boat. Item arrived quickly installed easily, and worked fine for a few hours. Then the next time I turned the projector on, there was a dark shadow just off center, filling about a quarter of the screen. Seems like a dark spot developed on the bulb. Unwatchable like that. Contacted company who sent a replacement quickly. We will see how long this one lasts

This is the second bulb I bought from this company (b/c I was having trouble finding one). Both bulbs flickered. The Second bulb, however, caused my projector to overheat within 60 seconds of turning it on….causing my projector to shut itself off. In other words, the second bulb made my projector completely worthless. I was just about to buy another projector when I found the OEM replacement bulb on Benq’s website. It cost a bit more, but WAY less than a brand new projector, which I was about to buy because I thought the problem was with my projector, not this poorly made/defective bulb. I bought the bulb from the manufacturer and installed it after it arrived. My projector now works perfectly. DO NOT BUY this product because it had problems the first time and didn’t work the second time. Pay the money and buy the OEM bulb from the manufacturer…the OEM bulb worked perfectly…unlike these 2 prior bulbs.

it works well, the wire plug is a bit confusing, it doesn't show which way it should go but I got it figured out.it's not as bright as the original but it's not bad at all!

Updated July 2021:The company informed me that they think I bought the wrong bulb.They refunded my purchase and let me keep the existing bulb.- - - -- - - -- -- --- - -I bought this bulb for an Optoma Hd28dse.The faring/shroud for the bulb did not seem to want to fit in to the space without some force applied, which I did not feel comfortable applying. I to make it fit, I had to remove the shroud and replace it with the shroud from the original bulb.Once I did that, it seemed to fit snugly in place. It was a bit of a relief that the screws for the replacement shroud lined up with the original.Next, it was time to connect the bulb to the projector via the pigtail. Again, the pigtail didn't seem to fit snugly or snap in to place. Also, there was no noticeable notch or groove to indicate the proper orientation/ensure that you don't connect it backwards. Again, I had to remove the pigtail from the original bulb and replace the pigtail on this one. This took some care to ensure that I had the right connector on the right post. Once that was done, I was able to place the bulb back in the shroud and connect it snugly as well as ensure that the wires were connected properly.The entire process took less than an hour, so it wasn't terrible, but I also consder myself to be fairly handy and willing and able to figure out simple wiring and such.After installing the bulb, the projector fired up and the picture is nice and bright and colorful two weeks later.

this worked great and has returned the brightness i was still using the original bulb at 4300 hours and decided to upgrade to this. can not speak to longevity and i will update if it dies early but so far everything worked.
