Install easily using ARB reusable gasket. Increased capacity and easy maintenance with included drain and filler with dipstick w/ integral magnet for immediate signs of wear activity. The bright Red color looks great too.

Probably one of the easiest OEM replacements I’ve done on my Wrangler and I’m NOT a mechanic. Even with just a 2” lift, the undercarriage is readily seen by any motorist behind me. I’ve spent more than a few dollars on other more visible upgrades but replacing the rear diff cover has been one of my favorites! And WOW, the difference in construction and durability of this ARB over the OEM cover. No comparison.

1977 Jeep J20 with Dana 44 front axle. The U bolt for the leaf spring is right up on the passenger side, I had to grind a bit off of the right side of the cover to get it to line up correctly.Think this is designed to fit Dana 44 axles where the Diff is centered. Im sure it’s designed for Dana 44 rear axles only.

Beware if you plan on having them past two years (warranty period) as the paint may bubble and flake off. Mine are at 5 years and just noticed how bad the rear looked. This vehicle is barely used (2009 just broke 30k miles). No chemicals or damage to cover. In fact front diff looks fine and that takes more road abuse facing forward. This is for a Dana 44. I contacted ARB and they stated they were out of of warranty (2 years) but did offer discount to buy another cover. I'll be looking for something built more substantial to replace it. Added photo. FYI, this hasn't been in snow or salt water, just if you were wondering. ;0)

Fits on my 2015 Jeep JKURHR Dana 44 front, but OEM trackbar as well as replacement JKU adjustable track bar significantly impacts the top of the cover. Right in front of the dip stick and to the left. Already had to touch up with paint. Not a huge deal, as you can tell unless you're laying on the ground. I don't think any Jeep components would be adversely affected long term. I did take a piece of radiator hose and zip tie it to the trackbar just as a buffer. I don't off road this Jeep, but just daily driving caused the damage. I like the dipstick idea, and the red accent. But had I known that the Dana 44 axle itself has a lower drain plug (another selling point of the ARB) I might have researched other red diff covers (I am a sucker for looks I admit). Maybe something that won't bang with other suspension components. In retrospect, the same cover I have on my lifted TJ (Dana 30) does the same thing. Both Jeeps have about a 2.5" OME/JKS lift installed with 33's. Oh, and definitely use the LubeLocker gasket...

Excellent covers for the Jeep JK 2013 that replaces the stock covers. It is very easy to install with the Lube Locker Differential Gasket. Takes about 2-3 hour for the front and back and also clears the track bars. You may have to lift the frame up with a jack to install some of the bolts. This allows those bars to move so you can torque the ¼” Allen bolts. Nice magnetic dip stick and bottom drain plug. I marked the oil level with an engraver for future oil checks. It looks cool and much better than the original covers.Only one draw back it’s a bit pricey, but what do you expect for something that makes the installation easy.

This Diff cover is too awesome to describe. It is bulletproof. The lower drain plug is perfect for the hard core off road enthusiast. It allows draining without pulling the cover. Perfect for those deep water crossings. The magnets are ideal to quickly identify any issues with the gears or locker. Although I have an ARB locker I would recommend it for anyone who loves offroading- Locker or not. I know it is pricy compared to other off road covers, but the features it has are better than any other cover on the market.

Take a look in you tube they sold me and give a great reason to buy these covers.
