I am a woman who bought it for me to use to built my greenhouse since husband refuse to help. However, he stole my tool and now has been using it for his projects and leaving my greenhouse behind. He loves it and I only have used it for about 3 times and loved it. I recommend this tool for man and woman.

I got an electric screwdriver that I adore but the only issue was the chuck wasn’t magnetic and the bit extender that came with it didn’t lock in the bits. So I got this as an aftermarket addition and I’m so happy I did. This bit extender works perfectly to lock in hex bits. It’s magnetic as well so the bits can hold onto the screws or whatever else you’re driving. The loose sleeve around the shaft rotates freely so you can hold onto it to stabilize the shaft while driving.Overall I’m super happy with it. It’s works flawlessly and feels durable. It was also priced effectively. Worth picking one up to keep in the toolbox.

I have used a lot of different drill extension bit holders and this is hands down my favorite. It is built very sturdy and runs true. The collar that holds the bit moves freely making it quick and easy to change bits, even with gloves. The sleeve around the shaft is also a nice feature. Much better than trying to hang on to a rotating shaft when starting screws. I have not used it long enough to confirm durability but will update my review accordingly if it doesn't last

All my automotive work I do my self. Seems like a good product, the only issue I have is it’s a little fragile. I dropped mine from chest high and it landed on the tip. From a 4 foot fall it bent. I was hoping it was a little bit more robust than that. Now it has a wobble in it, and I cannot straighten it out. I purchased generic ones from my local flea market, they held up better than this one. It could be a fantastic product if it was a little bit more robust.

It is a great idea and concept it just needs a little tweaking. If it had a way for bits to stay locked in when using it as a bit driver it would be awesome.

I used to do a lot of switching between a 1/4 hex quick disconnect chuck and a 1/4 or 3/8 drive socket adapter on my cordless drill. This is a great idea and I had to have one as soon as I saw it.I use my drill mostly in my garage, where I do a little of everything from woodworking to car repair. I'm often using sockets on the drill when working on a car, and sometimes switching back and forth between the socket adapter and a hex bit adapter. When I'm doing other jobs I usually work with hex bits. It will be super convenient to switch back and forth so quickly and not having to worry about misplacing whatever adapter I am not using at the time.I was somewhat worried about how solidly the hex bits would fit into this adapter, but they actually fit in nice and snug. It seems well machined and well thought out. The collar slides back and forth between modes very nicely. It feels like a quality tool, not cheap junk that will break within a year or two. As far as I can tell, this thing is all metal and solidly built. While a few years ago I had never heard of the Ares brand, I now own several of their tools and I have been very happy with all of them.I'll update this review after I have used this a while and let everyone know how it is holding up.Update - it's been a few years and it's held up fine but I don't use it as often as I thought I would.
