Aromasong Natural Carpet Deodorizer can help freshen up your carpets and rugs with a natural product that will be safe around your pets. The 3 pound resealable bag holds a fine, white colored powder that has a calming lavender fragrance. To use, you just need to sprinkle on the desired area, let it sit for 5 minutes, and vacuum off. I appreciate that the product is placed in a resealable bag but I was surprised to see that it did not contain a spoon or scoop to help distribute the product onto the carpet. Pouring it from the bag was not as easy to control and dropped uneven amounts as opposed to sprinkles. Thus, I designated an unused fast food plastic spoon to make it significantly easier. I hope that the manufacturer will consider adding a plastic spoon or scoop in future orders. Once vacuumed, the carpet had a soft lavender fragrance and performed as advertised. The product can also be used on upholstery, pet beds, and mattresses. The ingredients are clean, recognizable, and pronounceable including sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), orange oil, anthemis nobilis flower oil, clary oil, clove leaf oil, eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, grapefruit peel oil, lavender oil, sage oil, and tea tree leaf oil. It is Made in the USA. Overall, I like how easy it was to freshen up the carpets in our home while keeping our pets safe.

This is a huge bag of carpet air freshener. I use it by sprinkling it all over the carpet and then putting my boots on walking around the carpet for a little. After I walked on it for a little bit. I'll go ahead and vacuum it up. This makes my carpet smell fresh and clean. The downside is it comes in a bag. It's really hard to sprinkle using the bag.

I'm extremely happy with the results and have already reordered more. We discovered that one of our cats had been peeing in a closet, so we used enzyme cleaners and did multiple rounds of soaking and vacuuming to get it up. After doing that, the smell actually got worse, multiplying by ten. While the carpet itself seemed sanitized, the entire room was filled with the overwhelming stench of cat urine for days. It was unbearable. I researched it and learned that this is common because we had essentially reactivated the dried urine. We were waiting for the carpet cleaners to come, but couldn’t stand the smell any longer, so we decided to try something else to at least reduce the odor before they arrived. I had a similar product that messed up my vacuum, so I was a bit hesitant, but it was easy to use and vacuumed fine. The scent could've been a bit stronger, tho it's nice and light while it lasts. I can't do heavy scent, so that's good, I just wish it'd last longer..It's a pretty big bag so it'll last a long time. It's a fair price for the size. It's pet safe, which was a must for me, and it didn't affect my dog adversely in any way, so yay! It works well it, just could be a bit MORE, you know? I'll keep using and experimenting with it. If I find a trick to making it last, or run into any issues, I'll update my review

This comes in what is supposed to be a resealable bag with pre-torn sides to make it easy to hand tear. Unfortunately, after pulling the top along the line that is pre-torn the bag was unable to open. I got some scissors and cut the bag open lower down and even still the bag would not open. I performed that step a couple more times until finally I got below the sealed line but above the zipper lock line which was difficult because I am not exaggerating when I say this line was less than 1mm in height. At that point I was finally able to get the zipper part open and was able to access the contents.The powder is very fine and there is no easy way of dispersing it evenly. I grabbed handfuls of it and just tried to throw it around into different areas of the carpet. That seemed to have worked though the powder is so fine that it remains in the air for a while before settling so I probably should have worn a face mask.The smell is nice but it quickly dissipates after vacuuming the powder.Finally the bag wasn't able to be re-sealed as part of the zipper was damaged despite my surgical attempts to try not to damage it while opening the bag.Recommendation to the manufacturer: The presumably heat/pressure sealed top line needs sufficient space between it and the zipper line otherwise it is not possible to open the bag by hand and it is not possible to re-seal the bag after use.
