I did the head gaskets on my duramax due to an external coolant leak. Everything turned out great and the head studs give not only peace of mind but also higher boost capacity and resale value. Oh and don't forget they are multi use whereas the head bolts are one time use tty. I only turn about 500hp and 1k ft lb tq but it is well contained.

Defintely worth the money. It gives you a piece of mind. When engine heads overheat or when a lot of pressure is created inside the cylinder. Heads might warp or break or head bolts stretch.

If you don't have these on your Duramax, you need them. These are far better than the factory bolts. Enough said about that. These were hard to find through other channels at the time I bought them, and I needed to get the customer back on the road ASAP. Amazon made it happen!
