I love this little trimmer. Especially useful for snipping peas and beans in the garden.

Love these. Not too big, not to small. Sharp and easy to use. Loved them so much I bought another pair!!

These snips are definitely well made! They are on the heavier side for snips but that goes to the way they are made. Very sharp, smooth cutting, nice spring. I think they will last for years.

適度なバネの力で開いてくれる点が使い勝手がよく、長期間の使用でも疲れず、指にマメもできません。切れ味もさすが優良メーカーらしくとても良いので、長く愛用させて頂けそうです。

I'm a florist so need to cut wire, but these don't cut the heavier wire.

These are the best pruners that I’ve ever owned! They stay sharp, are comfortable to use, and will cut surprisingly large stems. They are great for everything from dead-heading to general trimming and pruning. I’ve also been known to use them to pop the occasional weed out of the ground. I highly recommend also purchasing a Felco 912 clip-on holster. These fit in it perfectly allowing you to have them with you wherever you are in the garden.

I have vegetable gardens and 300 blackberry plants I hand prune. Some of the pruning is delicate, such as snipping buds, fine vines, and veggies to harvest. Because of the sheer volume of pruning I have to do, I need a handheld pruner that is super sharp and does not dull prematurely, performs without sticking despite constant use, and is narrow/thin for fine pruning (vs. heavier pruners I use for more "meaty" jobs). My requirements do not end there. I have arthritis in my hands; I need pruners that fit well in my hand and compensate for my hands' loss of dexterity and strength.I have long been a Fiskars® fan, but lately have had a few disappointments (e.g., parts breaking) with its smaller pruners. Therefore, when I needed a new needle nose pruner, I decided to buy the ARS® Needle Nose Pruner HP-SE45. I am beyond pleased with the pruner! Its slightly smaller size fits perfectly in my hand. The pruner is crazy sharp and has remained so even after days of pruning. So far, no stem or vine I have tackled has been too much for the pruner. The needle nose is the perfect size to slide between leaves, branches, and fruit to cut only what I intend. I have been so pleased with the ARS needle nose pruner, I bought another, more substantial ARS pruner which also is out performing my other pruners. (A note for those seeking points of comparison, I have not tried any Felco® pruners.) I see more ARS products in my future!

These are very nice and seem well made, but I sent them back because I was wrong about the country of manufacture. From the descriptions etc. you would think these are made in Japan, the way they say "Japanese" and "Japan" a lot but they have started manufacturing them in Vietnam. It's not like nothing good is made in Vietnam, but I chose these over a very slightly pricier pair of Felcos that are made in Italy, partly because I thought they were made in Japan. It does say that the steel and most parts are from Japan, but they're still cutting costs and I'd rather have the one from Italy. I sent these back, but I was pretty close to keeping them because they do seem very nice. Just a fair warning if you are like me and care a lot about where tools are made.

Perfect product. Exactly what I needed. I have been using them for my flowers before placing them in an arrangement. The pruner is very sharp and slices through stems easily without crushing them.

I have worked on small cut-flower farms for the past 3 years and have been a gardener for almost 20. From my own experience (or lack thereof;)) I think that these are the best option for clumsy or inexperienced harvesters. The first season I used a different pair of pruners for 1/3 of the season then started having hand issues, switched to these, and the issue stopped. If you drop these on your shoe they won't pierce. I've never pinched my fingers using these. I appreciate the red handle when I drop them. The needle nose is great for getting into tight spaces...make sure you never buy a curved blade for harvesting...super inefficient. These days when I harvest, I use Victorinox serrated harvest knife from johnny's because it is more efficient and ergonomic 70% of the time and these pruners 30%. I am also a floral designer and generally always use these ARS pruners when designing. Woodies really wear these pruners down so I try to use an old pair so my new ones stay sharp for a nice clean cut on everything else. It is nice that they usually cost around $16-17 so they can be replaced easily. If you are a gardener or florist and don't have 1000s of cuts a day to make then these probably won't be your favorite, but I suggest trying them just to see if they could fit into your arsenal. Sorry for the rambling chain of thought, but I hope someone find it helpful!
