Steve's Story
Founder, CEO, and Master Tea Blender, Steve Schwartz, began his journey into the world of tea at the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico. His interest in Eastern medicine led him to uncover a passion for the alchemy of blending herbs and botanicals. After catching the attention of few local chefs including Wolfgang Puck, Steve officially founded the company in 2004. This oolong tea is really tasty. It has a relatively mild flavor and doesn't seem like it can really be over-steeped. It doesn't get overly strong when left too long, and it tastes really good. It is pricey, but if you're looking for a fancier tea, this is a good option.

The Art of Tea company has gone to great lengths to produce a conscious and high quality product, and its appearance (and price) clearly reflects this. If you're serving tea to impress, this is surely the ticket!The product's photos are an accurate representation. The individual tea bags are made of a very fine mesh cloth in the preferred pyramid shape, which has best porosity. The bags are tightly sealed in their individual paper packets for freshness. The tea itself is full leaf and expands to the full volume of the bag when steeped.The color is a soft amber, and the aroma and taste are both very delicate. If over-steeped, the flavor does not intensify very much, but it also does not turn harsh as I've experienced with other oolongs.If smooth and delicate are your cup of tea, and you don't mind the premium price, do give it a try.

Smooth light tea, and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of caffeine you get especially if you steep in for 5 min. As powerful Ling term as coffee but not rush of energy or jitters - slow and steady and long lasting... so don't drink it late in the day!

I’ve tried a few varieties of tea from Art of Tea and they’ve all been delicious. I like that their tea bags are not made of plastic materials like most tea bags. I don’t have to worry about microplastics leaching into my tea, and the tea bag is compostable after I’m done using it. I’m a daily tea drinker and found out about teabags being made of plastic materials (such as nylon) a few years ago, and am now very conscious about what I’m putting into my body and beverages!This Orchid Oolong tea is the same quality I’d expect from Art of Tea. Is it the highest quality tea available? No. Is it a good daily tea? Definitely. It’s very good for a teabag, since the tea in most teabags are crumbs. If you look at the tea in these sachets, you can actually see tea leaves (though not full tea leaves). The strength of the oolong tea is about right too - not bitter, and tastes like classic oolong tea.I’m very happy with this Orchid Oolong tea and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys oolong tea and the convenience of teabags.

This tea is floral and soft! I love to take a break and have a cup of this. It just makes me slow down and lightens my mood. It tastes delightful. The branding is beautiful! It really is the art of tea!

The tea I received was old and did not brew, even with boiling water and several minutes wait. I should have read the no return/replacement rules before I bought this tea.
