One can didn’t spray all out! It only sprayed out half of the can!

This worked really well. Treated my gortex shell and it is really water repellent.

I used this on the polyester top on my gazebo. The top had already gone through one Summer so it's not a new top. We've had some rain since I treated the top and the water runs right off. There is one area of the top that seems to leech a little bit of water, but I think it's because the material was worn down a bit in that area. I just re-treated that area, so we'll see what happens when it rains again.Overall, I'm happy with the performance of the product.

Works well on the items I tested it on.The spray on fluid drips, so a second coat to get areas where the waterproof coating moved downwards is needed. It still works well enough to be water resistant even when the fluid drips and the coating isn't full.It does, however, cause discoloration. It caused dots to appear on all fabric items I tested it on. The dots are light enough that it just looks like a very subtle faded pattern. The pattern is consistent, so you might even think it was done on purpose. You have to look pretty closely to see it.And it does indeed cause yellowing on the white soles of shoes. I tried to wipe it a little to prevent it, but the yellowing stays. It isn't as noticeable in certain areas where it's thinner, but the yellowing is still there. Makes the shoe look dirty.

I’ve been using this for the past 3 years on various fabrics that are typically relied upon for water resistant . I’ve treated sleeping bags, tent flys, GoreTex, down jackets and other breathable DWR fabrics. I’ve never tried to work miracles on any fabric that would typically absorb water such as cotton, so I can’t speak to that performance. The spray quickly soaks into fabric, even those that might take a while to wet out under rainy conditions. It does have an odor that lingers when wet so make sure you apply it outdoors. I apply just enough to wet the material, no more. If the fabric looks soaked then I know I went to heavy. Once it dries I cannot detect any smell. I will typically throw items that contain puff insulation or down into the dryer after the spray has dried just to repuff any insulation that may stick to the internal fabric surface.I have treated 800 fill jackets and sleeping bags with no noticeable dampening of the fill. I was a bit concerned the first time I treated a down jacket, not knowing the effects on the down. I can say with a minimum but thorough fabric coating things turned out great.

I sprayed the repellant on some dense fabric winter gloves. They are designed for warmth, not particularly moisture repellant. We're going to Antarctica and the outfitters want us to have water resistant gloves. Rather than buying another pair of gloves that I'll only use once I sprayed Atsko on my current gloves and then held them under the faucet after letting them dry for 48 hours. I was amazed that the water just ran off without soaking in. I imagine that prolonged exposure to water would break down the Atsko but for intermittent water exposure it seems to work great. Two weeks of treks onto the continent will be the acid test.
