I was hesitant to buy based on reviews. I am glad I did. It Took about 30 minutes to install. Instantly made draft disappear. Staple gun is nice some staples were defective but they gave you plenty to complete installation.

The zipper is weak. It will open if you pull on the material. The stapler is straight garbage. Why include if it doesn’t work correctly. Literally the worst stapler I have ever used. I may return it.

This attic door insulation cover comes as described. The material is like those insulated thin bags that you get on the supermarket to carry cold things. Don't expect a heavy duty thick insulation. Most of the insulation will be done by eliminating the draft between the living space and the attic. Still, thermal camera looks like there is some improvement compared to not having the cover.Whats good:- The included stapler is heavy duty- Ease of installation (under 15 min job)Not so good:- The corners are stitched, and one corner was already coming looseWhat would be nicer:- Better zippers.It's complicated to objectively say how much of an improvement this makes, but for the simplicity of the installation, and the cost of the product, this provides a good value for home energy improvement.

It was a tad bit bigger than our opening, but not by much, actually probably made it easier to install. The staple gun is a heavier duty type, you can only fit one small strip of staples in it, good for around the house. It was easy to install and you could feel the difference when it was opened and closed.
