I bought this to hold a 15" x 15" x 5" hard plastic card storage box. It barely fits in this bag, but it does fit. Since the bag has very rounded corners, I'm not sure it could hold something 15.5" x 15.5". The padding seems like it would work well to keep the contents safe during transport, but it feels a bit too thin to stand up to a drop very well. The securing velcro straps are nice to keep the contents in place inside. Would love if the handle wrap and shoulder strap were more padded. The zippers get a bit stuck around the corners so hoping they sort of get broken in over time. Overall pretty good for my needs. May also use as a board game bag when I don't need to take the box of cards around.
