These are the sweetest candles to include in a bridal shower or wedding. I love the handcrafted look and the sturdiness of these candles. They are a great size for burning over a period of time and could even be passed down to other family members to be used at future weddings. An heirloom in the making! Just make sure you store them in a cool place so they don't melt on you. They are candles after all. With two candles included in the set, these turned out to be a great value and will be a precious addition to any bridal or wedding decor.

We bought this for our son's 1st Communion, with the thought that every Sunday after his 1st Communion we will light it and say special prayers for him. However, it is so pretty, I'm not sure he'll want to light it. The details are very nice. It is pretty clear that it is hand made, but in a charming, rustic kind of way. I love it, and I think he'll like it, too. It is a decent size, if we light it only for Sunday prayers, it will probably last a year.

I didnt include candle lighting in my Catholic wedding last year but I would have liked these ones had I done it. Instead, I had them blessed during Candlemas and plan on lighting them during my daily prayers for a healthy, happy marriage that reflects the marriage of Christ and His bride, the Church.You'll see in the pics a little gold of one of the rings came off. That was me, I didn't properly pack them for transport.

These candles are too special to burn. I placed them on the table today for our anniversary. The candles hold so many special feelings. They are handmade and lovely! They feel like love, made by actual people who send feelings with the candles. I received a prayer card with Our Lady of Guadalupe along with the candles. She is beautiful, and so are these.

These are beautiful candles, perhaps I picked up on a slight scent, not sure if that was in the description, or just the natural wax smell I smell. Originally got this as an anniversary gift, and perhaps I will burn it on our anniversary. Exquisitely crafted, borderline beautiful. You can see some, I don't want to say flaws, but human crafting of these, which I simply do not mind at all! For me, this adds character and sentiment, so hats off to these crafters! Would recommend these, for any special occasions, be it a wedding (anniversary) baptism etc...very giftabe and will be appreciated. Thank you and God bless

The decorations on this set of two wedding candles cannot be burned. They are appliques not wax insets. That is why these candles are ornaments to commemorate a wedding day from a knicknack cabinet or Hope Chest.The golden three dimensional decorations are in golden plastic. They are securely attached. The wax is ivory colored.The candle set makes a memorable wedding gift.

The candle i received was exposed to heat making the candle to slant and didn't use it.
