I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. She loves it and says it is the most favorite present that I have ever purchased for her (I've bought her a lot of presents over the years). The one we got was gigantic! and it came unbelievably fast. It didn't come with a bulb in the box so we bought the biggest one that would fit with the included cord. It helps to really jam the bulb up into the lamp so that you can illuminate the top of the lamp. You need something sturdy to set this on! Don't underestimate how heavy this lamp is. It will be very helpful to have a second person to help you put the light bulb in the lamp and get the cord situated. The color of this lamp is beautiful and it has a lot of interesting veins running throughout.

It's a large piece of salt, but has a crack running down the side and one side has salt flaking off, side looks like salt was crushed on that side, light base fits poorly, purchased a Hemingway crystal light base.

First off let me say the salt lamp weighs over 70 lbs, it is over 2 ft tall and very wide ,I ordered it December 18th and received it December 21st, it is absolutely amazing and stunning, it was well worth the money. I will definitely buy again!
