This is such a nice salt rock lamp. It's so many to choose from. I'm very happy with this lamp. Its beautiful lighting, and dimmable. It came packaged very well, with the bulb included. It does help to relax and soothe you. I'm sleeping better, relaxing better, and breathing better. I leave them on most of the day when I'm home, and I keep getting compliments on them. I recommend this item, if your looking for a nice salt lamp. Stop all the searching and buy these, there great!

Let me start off by saying that I don't believe that salt lamps have any health effects. They are an interesting and whimsical light source.The light from the lamp is warm, but not too bright. It is perfect as a warm ambient lamp at night or during the day. The light is able to be dimmed to just a faint glow or to a nice 5 foot radius glow. I personally use it to brighten a dark corner and as a night light.I leave it on the brightest setting an thee salt itself never gets hot. I randomly touch it to see and it is only slightly warm. The cord is UL Listed, so I trust it. The base is very sturdy with rubber feet and comes in a nice cocoa brown. (Not sure what wood stain color it is, but cocoa is close.) The salt itself is fairly heavy, so it won't easily topple over. The base helps with that with the skid resistant feet.I don't know what everyone is talking about with the bulb being hidden. I found it immediately when I opened the package. It also includes what type of bulb it is so you can buy replacements, which I REALLY appreciate. It is also included in the product description online.Overall, this lamp is a great piece of decor and lovely ambient lighting. This specific lamp is well worth the money and safe from overheating with its reasonable wattage bulb and UL Listed cord.

I work a lot and spend most of my time indoors and needed something to help purify the air and relax me. I read about the benefits of salt lamps and decided to get one. Let's be honest, Amazon these days feels a little like eBay where there's so much junk and fakes out there. But THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. As soon as I held it, I loved the large size, sturdy significant weight, and the real salt grain. Ok I'll admit I even licked it and YES it's real salt! It's so pretty in the daytime, and when it's lit up in the evening it's even more beautiful. It brightens up my day, both literally and figuratively!For those looking for GENUINE products like me, I feel confident recommending this to you.

Ordered first one and noticed dimmer switch was cracked and did not light up. Lamp filament was intact, but would not light up. Replacement was sent and dimmer switch seemed OK, but AGAIN, lamps would not light. Replacement bulb tested in both w/o any luck.Salt crystals looked great.......But w/o working dimmer light assembly, it was not what was advertised. Have to return two Salt Lamps now....Two DOA orders returned, only one refunded so far.AMAZON, your replacement and refund policy for substandard products sucks.

I already had a nice Himalayan salt lamp (which I’ve had for about 10 years now and use nightly) and wanted another for our guest bedroom. Wanted an authentic one that plugged into a regular outlet and gave off the traditional warm glow - vs. one that changes color. This one was beautiful - better than my original one. Nice color, quality wood base, and the dimmer switch is an awesome feature! The warm glow is just what our teal-colored guest room needed. The top comes off so if the bulb burns out you can replace it. My old one did not. Would highly recommend this for nice ambient lighting.

This is definitely authentic and perfect size. But it said it should come with a light bulb but it didn’t. And you can’t just use any light bulb because it needs to be pretty tiny. - - Update: The light bulb is in there but it is hidden in the white foam and it is tiny so easy to miss. I told customer service that I didn't receive a light bulb and they immediately sent me a new one, no questions asked. But then I found the original light bulb. They probably get that all the time, so just make sure you look carefully for the light before you say you didn't receive one :)

The bulb was shattered upon arrival so I had to get my own - super annoying! But my lamp is beautiful. Definitely not a lamp for light, it's very low and like a night light, but it's serene and calming.
