This has to be the easiest installation of anything that I’ve ever had to bolt onto a vehicle. The quality is great, nice and flexible (durable) not brittle like others I’ve had in the past. All 4 holes lined up on my 2012 Honda pilot EXL

This arrived faster than the advertised shipping date. The box was damaged and I feared the hood deflector was too. Too much surprise it wasn't and I immediately installed it on my 2013 Honda Pilot. I cleaned off my hood and got it ready for install. The deflector slides right on and mounts perfectly. I had one issue with a screw and feared that I would strip it when trying to tighten it. Be careful when installing so you don't strip any screws. I almost called the manufacturer but finally got it tightened. Even with that minor problem I am still crazy surprised with the perfect fit and how easy it was to install. Took less than 10 mins. Highly recommend. We bought it for a upcoming long road trip. I'll update if we have any problems with it.

Perfect fit for the 2013 Honda Pilot. Easy installation! Like some others, I did drop one plastic screw into the belly of the beast. Fortunately, I could see it, and with the chewing-gum-at-the-tip-of-a-long-stick method :-), I was able to fish it out. I'd recommend that you put a large piece of cardboard on top of the engine, just in case fingers decide to be clumsy at the "right" moment. As for its effectiveness: we drove over 6300 miles during our 3-week August, 2014, road trip. The first 3000 miles with no bug deflector. Boy, lots of smashed, and colorful, bugs on the windshield. The last 3000+ miles driving back with the bug deflector installed. And... **drum rolling** there were definitely a lot less bugs on the windshield!! I'm not sure if there were just less of those little buggers during the last few days of August, but in my case, this thing has proven its effectiveness. Even if it was just a coincidence, it does look great on the white Pilot.

Excellent Product. Fit My 2013 Honda Pilot EX Good. Fast Delivery And Good Packaging. I Gave It A 4 Star Cause The Left Side Hole For Clip Didnt Match The Hood Hole. Had To Force A Push Clip In. Other Than That Fit Good And Looks Good.

I wanted a bug deflector on our new 2011 Honda Pilot. I am 100% pleased with this particular deflector. It looks very nice on our Pilot and the install was so very simple. No drilling, screws fit right into the original factory holes. If you are wondering if you should get this, I can help you, get it!Also, I agree with another reviewer, I put the tiny rubber bumpers on the deflector instead of on the hood. I only put 3 on. I pressed the very ends down to see where it made contact with the hood and I placed the rubber pad on that exact spot. The kids shoot basketball alot and it is possible for the end to get hit or pressed on. It was fairly flexible on the end so that if it gets hit or pressed on, I can't see that it would ever crack or break. I only put 1 in the very middle where it could "possibly" come down and touch the hood but I don't think that would ever happen. It took alot to make the middle of the deflector touch the hood.

We have bought a few AVS bug deflectors in the past and they had fit perfectly up until this one. It installed very easily and is a sturdy product. The only issue I have with it is that the plastic is very thick and the hood of our 2012 Honda Pilot did not close very easily. I have to lower the hood until the latch clicks once then give it an extra strong swift push down on the front middle of the hood for it to lock closed. The design of the deflector has a fairly sharp upward angle and I am not sure if it is optimal for just creating a gradual air flow over the roof of the vehicle so bugs and debris are deflected, as we did have many bugs on the windshield (not sure if it would have been worse without the deflector). It looks good and doesn't seem to be damaging the vehicle parts it is resting on so seems to be ok. Had I know about the fit issue, I might have opted to go with the OEM deflector and spend the extra $50 - $75 so it fit perfectly on our $30K vehicle.

Fits great. Took longer to take out of the box than install. I recommend putting the little clear " bumpers" on the deflector itself rather than the vehicle....or don't install them at all as I don't think they are needed....your choice. It's tough to close the hood since the car is new (only 65 miles on the odometer when install) but think over time it will be easier. I just drop the hood from about a foot or so and it closes. Great product. I have one on my Tacoma. Inexpensive and does what it's suppose to do...and it looks good. Signed up for the "Free Trial Shipping" and got it in less than 24 hours.
