The controller has worked great so far, the installation went well but I would describe it as moderately difficult. There are a number of possible locations for both the terminal block as well as the switch inside the vehicle. It largely depends on personal preference, regardless the Auxbeam 6 button switch works great for me and my needs.

Fixed it on my Ram1500, all offroad lights are mated to it with very less mess of wires. Works perfectly, love the autodim feature at night with memory. The light color is blue. I recommend

Once I wrapped my head around it, It was a breeze to install. Made a custom bracket for my application that turned out really clean. This is the ONLY way I will run lights on vehicles now no need for big ugly harnesses with relays.

Haven't installed it yet, but it's exactly what I ordered. It was well packaged and seems well made. Only time will tell. Sometimes you don't have ro spend the BIG bucks for a similar product. Unless I submerge my rig, I don't see why the water proofing is necessary.

I recently installed the Auxbeam 8 Gang Switch Panel in my off-road vehicle, and I must say, it has been a game-changer. The installation process was incredibly easy, which was a pleasant surprise. The instructions were clear and straightforward, making it a breeze to set up. I had everything wired and functioning in no time, thanks to the well-thought-out design and comprehensive wiring kit included in the package.The panel itself feels very durable, and the buttons have a solid, tactile response that gives me confidence in their longevity. The touch-sensitive screen and customizable labels make it super intuitive to control various accessories, and the backlit buttons are perfect for night-time driving.One of the standout features for me was just how user-friendly the installation was. It made the whole experience enjoyable rather than frustrating, which is often the case with similar products.I’ve wired my lights, winch, and a couple of other accessories to the panel, and everything works flawlessly. I’m also really impressed with how sleek the design is; it blends in perfectly with my dashboard, giving it a professional look that I’ve been aiming for.Additionally, I’ve recently purchased some amber pod lights that I plan to wire to this switch panel. When I opened the box I was immediately impressed. All components were in foam and very well protected. Setup was super easy. Love that the kit comes with two add a fuses depending on what size fuses your vehicle uses. Also love the fuse/circuit breaker coming off the battery. Love that each circuit is fused as well. Running the wire for the controller into the cab of my truck was super easy. Wired in a few lights as well as a small power inverter for charging power tool batteries. Thanks Auxbeam for making a super high quality product at a low price! Will continue to check y'all out with all my automotive lighting needs!

This has drastically changed the wiring setup in my Tacoma! I used to have a bunch of relays and tons of feet of wiring zip-tied in the engine bay of my truck and this got rid of all of that. Super easy to install and makes my truck look cleaner and put together. Took me about an hour to install! Dont know why anyone would pay $1000 for the S-pod, the auxbeam panel is perfect!

This is the new version with auto dimming/brightness. Previous versions had a white wire that you had to provide power to and pulse for changing the brightness. Glad they redesigned that. I wish it had a ‘light’ wire though so it’s not staying lit whole time car is on. It would be nice not to be backlit until vehicle lights were on. Guessing it was a design choice to keep limited wire runs. This version has a memory. If car is on and you have things active. You can press middle button and it turns everything off at once. Press again and it turns on everything that was on. When you turn car off and back on everything defaults to off. So if you have fans or coolers you need to remember to turn them back on. I have ran it for a couple of hours and it does not produce any heat. Very simple setup with very few wires or connections. I used the provided bracket (which is hidden under all of the foam) and hid the whole switching unit under some panelsA few things I don’t like about this whole system.1.The circuit breaker cover is too snug. If you push it all the way down it resets it, be sure to just set it on top but not push down all the way. Glad I tested it all out before putting cover on, otherwise that would have been confusing.2. It’s not customizable. You get 2 each 5a, 10a, 20a and 30a fuses. What if you don’t need all those higher amperage ones. And you can’t move them around, you’re stuck using the switch in the order they set.3. Short power wire from battery to circuit breaker4. You can’t really add a fridge to it even though there’s a fridge label. Reason is, this panel only works with ACC so your car needs to be on. Not good for a fridge to always have your car running. I suppose you can have fridge wired in then when get to camp site move to other power source.5. The power and ground cable ring are small. Will fit over 10mm bolt but not 12mm. I ended up widening the ring to fit on my battery terminal.6. Not sure if it will support air compressor. My compressor has already an inline 20a fuse so my assumption is it will work but have not tried yet.7. The brackets that come to mount the switch are good and bad. It has a couple of options / ways but it will most likely require altering your car.Overall though, nice alternative to the higher priced switching panels. it comes with high quality parts. Not all plastic. Easy to install. Looks good. Easy to use. If you have 2 or more accessories it’s worth it for a clean nice look with fewer wires and switches every where.
