It seems like a lot of reviews mention a dent, which I find funny, because mine came with a dent, too.Anyway, just got mine out of the box a few hours ago. I set it up in a room we are renting out (special circumstances), it was a bit loud on start up, but quieted after about 2-3 minutes. I haven’t placed anything in it yet, but I put my hand it in about an hour ago and it’s very cold. Small and perfect for a garage, dorm room, small apartment where you might want more freezer space. I’m hoping the dent doesn’t interfere with it working, but we will see. If it does, and I end up having to return it, I’ll update this review.

Freezer had a small dent but no impact to functionality. I think packaging could be beefed up to resolve that issue. Since there was a hole in the cardboard packaging where the dent occurred.

I've had an Avanti small refrigerator for years and it works like a champ, so I didn't hesitate to purchase their freezer based on that experience. The Avanti freezer, albeit I have only had it a few days, is working like a champ as well. It's quiet, maintains temp precisely, and is just the right size to give us a little extra freezer capacity without taking up a lot of space. I'm also liking the upright freezer as opposed to the chest type as it makes it easier to locate items in the unit. My only complaint with this purchase was with the shipper, Ontrac, waited until the last possible moment to make the delivery. I would recommend that all sellers avoid Ontrac like the plague.

I bought this freezer based on a great recommendation. Freezer arrived heavily dented, outside packaging didn’t show any damage. Styrofoam also included a cockroach. Luckily the freezer works fine but I wouldn’t have bought it if I knew what condition it would arrive in.

This is a nice unit. Factory setting brought temp to 10 degrees, I turned down a little and now is at 0. Quiet & light. It came with a SMALL dent in the back corner, so I guess the packing could be improved but no worry for me. It really does the job in our RV. Is about twice the capacity of our factory freezer, so now we can be more aggressive about purchases when we spot a deal!

The freezer is light to move, works great and so quiet I can't hear it running so at first I kept checking to see if things were really frozen. It fits perfectly in my tiny apartment, is only as tall as a kitchen table, and with a front opening door, I don't have to move everything to find what I'm looking for its right in front of me on the shelves. I love this little freezer........
