Great sounding cymbal and works well in all musical situations. Shipping was fast but my only complaint is the cymbal was filthy and definitely used a lot. I paid for a new one and got one that I can't even get polished clean.

I wanted a splash for a church I play at and while the acoustics are pretty good really cutting cymbals would not jive. Reading about this anc watching YouTube clips this one seemed perfect. Fast decay, not too loud, and blended well with other K zildjian I already had.For heavy rock it won't project enough but small spaces will be fine.

The sound of this cymbal took some getting used to. I bought it based on a rider (contract) requirement, and hadn't heard the hybrid sound yet. The first time I set it up on the kit, I really didn't like it - didn't feel like it fit in with the K Custom family of plates. However, in subsequent sessions the sound has really grown on me. I like it much more and am starting to feel where it fits in my style/sound palette, and it's a great voice to have. The bell sound is MASSIVE for a splash cymbal. I may add the 9" model as well.
