After watching a video on YouTube, this looked easy enough. The product was easy to install. Can't believe how much brighter my screen is. I guess I just got used to the old one and didn't realize how bad it had gotten until the lamp/bulb warning came on screen. Super happy. Picture I took probably doesn't do it justice. Thank you, whoever made this product.

turned my $1,500 paperweight into a 4k projector again. and the install took about 30 seconds. 2 screws and you're done, it's plug and play

this was the best replacement bulb we've ever had for the BenQ TH671ST - thanks (have gone through 4 or 5 over the years)

Advertised as compatible with HD180 and on appearance looks to be the same as original bulb but it doesn't work on my Optoma HD180 projector. Error (Lamp fail) Flashing Amber + Red Light Error Code.

First off, this item does ship to Canada and for the same price with reasonable shipping cost. Mine arrived via DHL very quickly and I must say, I am very impressed with DHL's service. I was able to pay the brokerage fees in advance (which were reasonable at just under $20 for brokerage, taxes & duty) and specify where to leave it if no one was home. It ships from China and not the United States, as stated. Only took about 3 business days.Changing the bulb is quite easy, if a bit tedious. There's about 15-20 screws you need to get through. Make sure not to touch the bulb with your hands. Using latex gloves for the entire procedure is a good idea. Also, I read about another person who had the little window in the lamp assembly break when their bulb exploded - you may want to check to see if this is intact before buying bulb vs new lamp assembly. As for the bulb itself, it appears to be good quality, as others have stated. My projector feels like new now that the picture brightness is back to where it used to be. I only just installed it so I'll report back if any problems arise. 5 stars because the price is fantastic when compared with the alternative of spending closer to $200 elsewhere and the quality appears to be on par with buying from Optoma itself.

As described, 200 hrs on the bulb and it still looks fantastic!

Great buy for the price. Little more work to dis assemble the Bulb assembly to replace the bulb. The screws on the assembly are very small and need a micro screw driver, which I used. I almost stripped the head on one screw and couldn't open. Delicate work since the screws are on tight. I am not sure if I will be able to open that screw again the next time. Have had the new bulb for 8 months now and works great. We use our Optoma HD33 every day as our TV.
