Okay, bought this bell for wild birds that I feed. After some years of having feeders in the yard and ringing my small bell when I put feed there, birds come flocking when I ring. I lost my tiny bell, bought this one - it said 'two tone'. NOT. Sorry, the clacker inside must be made of lead of something, you can barely hear it while ringing it right next to you. It's heavy and solid built alright....just quiet, very quiet!

A pretty bell which is a little rough on the bottom, but that doesn’t bother me. We use it to hang on the front doorknob so our dog can let us know when she needs to go out. I wish it were louder as it is difficult to hear from the next room.

Very nice bells....a tad more than I wanted to pay.....but you get what you pay for. They aren't a very loud bell but they sound nice.
