Furnace broke on the colderst day of the winter. I determined it was a limit switch so I ordered this one. Jumpered the wires until I could get it installed. Can't say it was easy to install since the union on the gas pipe was rusted and would not budge. I applied some thread oil to break loose the rust and in a couple weaks then it started to move. Once the gas pipe was disconnected then it was a 15 minute job.

The one it replaced looked different--it was in a bigger, plastic-looking insulator, rather than cloth wrapping, but it'd gone bad (was showing no conductivity at room temperature). This one seems functionally identical--it's certainly exactly the same size, and matched the old bolt holes perfectly. The tabs are slightly smaller, but they worked fine. My Goodman furnace/AC is working just fine now.

It Is working as designed. This part fixed my problem. On a GMP075-3 you do have to shift the gas valve assembly forward in order to get this in but you don’t have to take it all the way off. You could also use tin snips to expand the hole where the gas line comes in the side in order to bring the gas assembly forward just by loosening the four screws on the gas box instead of taking it completely off/disconnecting the gas line (depending on play in the pipe). I needed to bring the assembly forward about an inch to get the Old part off and the new one in.

Fast shipping! Was a new style of what i had but same part number worked better since it had a little flex on it.

It works fine. But to install it in GMP075-3 furnace, you have to remove gas valve - tough job.GMP075-3 design does not allow to remove limit switch by simply removing two screws.

I thought this was a 160°F limit but it's actually 155°F. Not a huge difference, but my furnace still cuts off too frequently.
